- And in the film itself, they glomp Sonny!
- Sonny and Sam first discover the manuscript's true power on the gummy bears. But one still holds on to the door. Sam flicks it into the book.

- Sam and Sonny attempt to get back into Sonny's house, only to find their own Jack-o-lanterns are now alive and guarding the porch, but the lopsided, goofy face they gave one means it's now a Cloud Cuckoolander.Lead Pumpkin: You like carving pumpkins, huh? Look what you did to poor Terry!
Terry: Hiya! I'm round!
(A few moments later, Sonny is about to smash him)
Terry: Hiya! Happy Easter! - At one point, Stine spots a red balloon floating over a sewer grate and exclaims "I knew I came up with that first!"
- Stine regarding his old manuscript. "My writing was so cliche back then!"
- The ending had a good meta joke. Slappy gets away this time, and ends up in Stine's cabin. Why? "You know I always survive. You wrote me that way."
- Stine awkwardly talking to the kids after he realized he was too late and everything was resolved.
- Mr. Chu geeks out at the discovery that they're in a Goosebumps story.Sarah: Ok, you're a fan.
