Funny / Ella and Friends

• In "Ella ja Paterock", the teacher tells disguised Elviira that he'll eat her beard if she's really Elviira. In the next chapter, we see a news story that says:
  A TEACHER ATE A BEARD
  Tasted hairy, the teacher comments.
• In "Ella aalloilla", the entire sequence of the kids attempting to cast midsummer magic in order to make the guide kinder. They have Pate run around the adults' tents in his underwear while Samppa and Pukari eat a few cans of tuna. Pukari breaks all of the tuna cans with a rock, causing tuna to explode everywhere. Tuukka attempts to convince the guide that he's her father and she's having a dream about him, which she isn't fooled by. A naked Pate ends up in the teacher's tent, making him remark the next day that he had a dream last night where he kissed a frog (which the kids hid under his pillow earlier), which turned into a naked Pate. His wife claims to have had a very similar dream.
  • When the guide accuses the teacher of stealing her captain hat, he misunderstands and confesses that he ate the last slice of cheese, that he's always dreamed of having a dollhouse, and that he was the one who put a herring in her sleeping bag.
• In "Ella ja Äf Yksi", one kid from the giant school makes fun of Pate for having the teacher's accordion on his neck and Martti the beetle in a matchbox. Pukari gives them one of his typical weird threats, but the kid doesn't understand, leading to a Hurricane of Euphemisms as Ella and friends try to explain what he meant.
  • After the teacher gets arrested, the kids try to free him by putting on fake beards, going to the police station, and telling the police that they're presidents and have pardoned the teacher. And Samppa also puts on his Batman mask. None of the cops are fooled.
  • When the adults are worrying about how their houses will be destroyed to build a race track, the kids are more concerned that the teacher's daughter and dogs are eating all of their cookies. They distract the dogs by having Pate strip to his underwear, cover him in barbeque sauce, and making the dogs run after him. However, the kid is still eating the cookies, and the kids do anything they can think of to distract her, but she only claps for them after eating the last cookie.
