Funny / Dinner at Eight

• Millicent getting steadily more panicked about organising the dinner - especially when her servants apparently got into a fist fight in the kitchen and one of them has been driven to the hospital. She gets all this information second hand from her deadpan cook.
• And there's the classic exchange between Kitty and Carlotta.
  Kitty: I was reading a book the other day.
  Carlotta stops in shock.
  Carlotta: Reading a book?
  Kitty: It was all about civilisation or something nutty like that. Do you know it says that machinery is going to take the place of every profession?
  Carlotta looks Kitty up and down.
  Carlotta: Oh my dear, that's something you need never worry about.
• Kitty and Dan kicking each other in the ass (but discreetly) as they wait to go in the dining room.
