• When Pony is being especially obnoxious at the Rathcullen Arms, the bartender cuts him off. "Cutting him off" just means he has to drink stout instead of whiskey for a little while!
• During their song and dance, Darby gets Brian and the little people so excited about fox hunting that they all get mounted up and head out. While not one of them stays to make sure Darby won't escape.
  • Later that night, a furious King Brian storms into Darby’s house. Darby politely asks King Brian how the fox hunt went, and Brian snarks back, “We were chasing the wrong fox!”
• When Darby muses that he wishes that Michael could be able to see King Brian.
  Brian: That's your second wish.
  Darby: Why, you tricky, deceivin', connivin', double-dealin', high-handed...!
  • So Michael now sees Brian... as a rabbit.
  Brian: You wished he should see me, and see me he does. (smug smile) He sees me as a rabbit!
• Katie and Michael are having a moment, and she's all ready for him to kiss her, but he second-guesses himself and turns away. At first, she blusters with fury and embarrassment, but then she runs up to him and initiates the kiss herself.
