"It's super effective! 'Cause you're old."

    open/close all folders

    Season 1

"Jessica Goes to the Creek"

  • While also a Tear Jerker, it's hard to take Jessica seriously when she mispronounces stickler as "sticker".
Jessica: I'm not a sticker! I'm a good girl! I came to the creek, I changed my day, learned something new, I think you're the sticker! You're a sticker, Craig!
  • J.P.'s reaction to Jessica's outburst at Craig.
J.P.: Well that was really hard to watch.
  • Craig apologizing to Jessica for being a "sticker" and then corrects her that it's pronounced "stickler", which makes Jessica shoot a Death Glare at him.

"The Final Book"

  • The Horse Girls, with one of the members not being into horses as much as the rest.
  • Seeing Yustice try to run up the tree trunk and do a backflip during her "fight" with Kelsey, she lands flat on her stomach.

"Too Many Treasures"

  • When the trio meets the 10 Speeds, the 10 Speeds greet them while doing cool poses. When J.P. points this out, the trio tries doing cool poses, too.

“Sunday Clothes”

  • Kit mistaking J.P. for a health inspector, causing her to very loudly state that the packet of chips she’s giving him have not been opened. After she realizes it’s just J.P., she laughs and says all the packets have been opened.
  • J.P.'s job to settle the dispute between the two paintballer factions goes well until he decides to bring up how it all started and causes the children to fight anyway.

“Lost In The Sewer”

  • J.P.'s reward for helping the Sewer Queen: a firm handshake (he is visibly distraught by this).

"The Brood"

  • Trapped by the cicadas, the gang break into their hidden food stores. All the food is implied to have expired at least 25 years ago. Including, presumably, the fruit boxes.

"Bring Out Your Beast"

"Dog Decider"

  • Craig becomes too dependent on the dog Fred deciding his every action that it comes to a point he wants Fred to lick either a sandwich or a sub to decide which to eat. He licks the sandwich and Craig has no problem biting the site covered with dog drool. Bridget is visibly disturbed despite forcing her smile.
  • When Craig has Fred decide if he and his friends should play with a Frisbee or a bowling ball, Fred licks the bowling ball. When playing, Craig struggles to pass it to J.P., and when J.P. throws the bowling ball at Kelsey, he misses her and ends up destroying a tree, leaving Kelsey with an Oh, Crap! reaction and frightens Mortimer to fly away.
  • "You have ruined this weekend, and tamales."

"The Invitation"

  • At one point one of the Junior Forest Scouts and Kelsey disagree about whether or not Kelsey should have a sword. Said Scout tries to threaten Kelsey and she responds in kind.
Kelsey: That better not be a threat, Tony.
Tony: Oh, you'll know when I'm threatening you and I'll be confiscating that sword from you when I do it.
Kelsey: And I will confiscate your life!
    • It gets funnier when Eliza tells her to leave. Kelsey shoots a Death Glare and questions whether or not George can force her out. Cue the next shot being Kelsey lassoed up.
Eliza: Now now you two. If this is how you're going to behave then I'll have George escort you out as well.
Kelsey: I'd love to see him try, Eliza.
(Cut to George walking Tony out while Kelsey is tied up and being dragged)
    Kelsey: Avenge me! Avenge me!

"Jpony"

  • During the scene where J.P. and Maney are having a moment together and they're imagined as horses, the next scene reveals that Craig and Kelsey are riding respectively on their back and they look very uncomfortable being there.
    Craig: Should we leave?
Kelsey: Don't dismount. You'll ruin the moment.
  • When J.P. hurts his leg, Melissa suggests that they should "put him down like in the movies" while taking out a broom. Marie stops her, telling her "Not again."
  • When the horse girls are imagined as horses, Marie is just wearing a horse head mask.

"Doorway to Helen"

"The Climb"

  • Kelsey commands Mortimer to fly up Mt. Sycamore to fetch the Sky Mapper. He only goes as high as six feet. Kelsey still congratulates him for a valiant try.
  • Everyone reacting to J.P. getting stung by a wasp as if he had died, complete with putting a blanket over him.
  • Craig finally retrieves his phone, and finds that a leaf inside the basket blocked the phone camera, recording nothing but a close-up of the leaf.

"Big Pinchy"

  • J.P. chewing out Craig for being more concerned with proving Jason wrong than the actual experience of meeting Big Pinchy is a little sad, but it's mitigated by Kelsey slowly and silently reaching up to cover Mortimer's "ears" as if she doesn't want him to hear this.
  • The kids find out Big Pinchy is real and they take pictures of him...the last of which has Big Pinchy pinching J.P.'s face.
  • After spending the whole episode obsessed with getting proof of Big Pinchy to rub in Jason's face, Craig is content just to experience meeting him without taking photographic proof. J.P. smiles... and then firmly insists that he wants photos.

"Jextra Perrestrial"

  • Just the sheer amount of Insane Troll Logic from the gang as they try to "figure out" what J.P. really is.
  • Kelsey offering to hold off the Forest Scouts while the J.P. and Craig get away. Soon afterwards, we see that the Forest Scouts have stuffed Kelsey (and Mortimer) in a dog carrier.
  • The episode ends with J.P and Laura performing the "Mercer Handshake", which involves pressing both palms together, sliding down, and bending their finger joints backward. Mortimer has a look of shocked horror on his face.

"The Takeout Mission"

  • The kids think that the Thai restaurant isn't going to serve them, so J.P. has to talk over the phone while putting a phony adult voice. And sitting on Kelsey's shoulders because it "helps [him] get into character".
    • When the kids realize the only way they can get the food would be to pick it up during a rainstorm, Craig hisses at J.P. to cancel the order, but J.P. panics and agrees, and blurts out "bye, I love you!" before hanging up.
Craig: "Takeout is fine?!" It's raining whales outside!
    J.P.: I know, I panicked! YOU WEREN'T THERE CRAIG!
    • Later when they get to the restaurant, J.P. lifts Kelsey over his head while he speaks with his "adult" voice and goes by the name "Neil Pokoly". Even funnier in that the woman at the counter not only never bought the act but takes it in stride.
  • When the trio are about to leave to pick up their order, Craig asks Kelsey if her dad is going to allow it, which leads to this:
Kelsey: Hey, Dad! We're going to get the food!
Kelsey's Dad: (offscreen) Okay! Bring a pepper spray and a taser!
    Kelsey: I don't have those!
Kelsey's Dad: Just be careful then!
  • When the trio slide down a muddy hill, J.P. gets swept up by the wind while holding onto his umbrella and is sent flying Mary Poppins-style, disappearing with a Twinkle in the Sky. This of course turns out to be just an Imagine Spot.
  • When the trio are about to boil water for rice, they suddenly remember they're not allowed to work the stove because of their age. And then the stove suddenly turns on and turns its knob into the correct position by itself. Craig and Kelsey take it in stride while J.P. remains slack-jawed.

"Dinner At The Creek"

  • Bernard's line that babysitting together with Alexis will be like they're "the mom and dad for tonight." Duane, understandably, advises him to not get ahead of himself.
  • The fact that, even when he's throwing a tantrum, Craig can't bring himself to be mean to Alexis:
Alexis: Uh, j-just be back in time before sundown! Okay, Craig?
Craig: DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! YOU'RE NOT MY MOM!!! (Craig leaves... and immediately comes back) I'm sorry Alexis, that was super uncalled for, we all really like you here.
  • Craig's fantasies of himself as the ultra-muscular, ultra-rugged "Wild Man Craig."

    Season 2
"Memories of Bobby"

"Kelsey the Elder"

  • When Kelsey tries to fight off an acid-spitting centipede in her RPG campaign with the Elders, Mark thwarts her at every turn by claiming the ceiling is lava (so she can't swing from it to attack the monster from behind), then the walls (so she can't take advantage of her Acrobatics skill and use them to crawl around the monster), and then the very air itself.
    Mark: (theatrically) Everything is lava!

"Sour Candy Trials"

  • When Craig begins his Vision Quest after taking the Pucker Sucker, he is met by Bernard in the form of a big flying lemon. Craig can't help but laugh.
Craig: (chuckles) Your head's a lemon.
  • The cyborg-Duane appears riding the lemon-Bernard to help Craig in fighting the monster-Big Red...who just casually swats them into the water like a fly.

"The Other Side"

  • Shaun going off on The King when their act of stealing the map doesn't earn them anything more than just a "thank you", how deep the hole they dug was, how long they were waiting for these three particular kids to maybe wander over, and that Raj missed his own birthday party while they were doing so (which implies it happened even without him there).
Raj: (crying and sniffing) I heard it was amazing!

"Turning The Tables"

  • When Craig arrives at the stump, Kelsey is measuring J.P. for when they plan to use a Shrink Ray and want to make sure if it worked.
  • Craig makes Bernard waste all the grated cheese on his salad, with Bernard obligated to not stop until he says "when".
Bernard: That was all the parmesan in the restaurant!
    Craig: When.
  • J.P. eating breadsticks by peeling the crust like a banana.
  • Kelsey milking getting hit in the eye for all its worth. One knowing glance at Craig and the tough tomboy starts bawling like a baby.
    • When she explains later how she "pretended" to get hurt, she has the most self-satisfied grin on her face... and one heck of a swollen black eye.
  • The trio get sick from too much breadsticks. When Bernard gives them more as a reward, they moan in agony... and then say "Okay!"

Kelsey the Author

  • Kelsey's amazement at how Craig improved the cover art of her book, when all he did was pencil shade it.
  • As J.P. reaches in the drop-off slot at the library to get the last copy of the book, Kelsey operates him like an arcade crane.
  • J.P. distracting the librarian by asking to check out a chair.

Sparkle Cadet

Cousin Of The Creek

  • In what may be a playful self-dig at the show's artstyle, Bryson mistakes Craig's shoes for socks.
  • Craig tries to instigate a game of wallball inside the very small stump. It goes just about as well as can be expected.
    • Kelsey swinging her sword wildly to protect herself from the ball.
  • Bryson's ball hits Paintball Mike's cannon so hard all that is left of him are his helmet and his underwear. On the next shot, we see him in the background hanging naked on a tree.
  • Mortimer arrives after the fight is over. Kelsey scolds him "And where have you been? (Mortimer chirps) Going to get help? Well, it's too late now!" At that moment, Stacks appears in the background, sees the two arguing, and slowly backs away.

Stink Bomb

  • While unveiling her new bug spray, Wren pushes Bobby over for no real reason.
    • Furthermore, when Wren's concoction starts bubbling ominously, Bobby declares himself Craig's human shield and throws himself in front of Craig. He ends up stuck in a tree.
  • As the stink cloud spreads throughout the Creek, the Elders don't seem to be bothered by it. What happens at most is Mark just sniffing his armpit.
  • Seeing tears roll down Wren's face after she gets chewed out by Carl is pretty sad. Seeing them immediately reverse back up behind her glasses when Craig asks her to come along is hilarious.
  • The smell of the stink bomb is so powerful some of the kids hallucinate. Cannonball sees the faces of his parents on Craig and Wren, and it turns out they look just like him.
    Cannonball: I'm alive... y'all ain't my parents.
  • Eliza commands Mortimer to carry her to safety. She then hallucinates Mortimer's face sliding to the back of his head, then a human hand removes his mask to reveal a human mouth that slowly tells her "NOOOOOOOOOO."
  • Handlebarb attempts to escape the stink cloud by making a huge jump. She makes it halfway down the ramp before passing out.
    • Wren tries to talk her out of the jump by pointing out that such a feat is obviously impossible. Handlebarb counters that there's one thing she's not taking into account: that she's "really dizzy".
  • When Kelsey calls Craig for help, she's so out of it she mistakes him for Bernard, and then Jessica.
Kelsey: Bernard, listen to me! Tell Craig the flowers in our masks have wilted! I think this might be the end of our nasal passages! I think J.P. just barfed! But worst of all, Eliza and George are... really annoying.
    Eliza: (off-screen) How DARE you!

Evolution Of Craig

  • Craig tries to catch the tadpole by throwing a vending machine toy capsule at it, as if it were a Pokéball. Instead of automatically catching it, it just lays there, and Craig has to put the tadpole inside manually.
Craig: Oh. I thought that would work. Like in that show?
  • The "Who's that Creek Kid?" Eyecatches.
    It's Bobby! ("My candy!")
It's that one kid, Todd, from the Ten Speeds! You remember him, right?
  • Craig's entire fantasy of his "evolution."
    • The announcer's peppy-to-flat delivery of "CRAIG had evolved into...! *jingle* A BERNARD."
    • This exchange:
"Bernard Craig": I-It's me! Craig! I'm just in the fifth grade now!
J.P.: No way! Craig is a KID! Not some DECREPIT OLD MONSTER!
    Kelsey: LET'S GET HIM!
  • When the evolution screen pops up to announce Froggy's final "evolution," Craig panics and literally grabs it, throwing it off-screen while the announcer is yelling at him to stop as if he were inside it.
  • Doubles as Heartwarming, this exchange between Craig and his granddad:
Earl: Craig, I know change is scary, but just because you're growing up doesn't mean you're going to stop being you. I mean, look at me! I don't act like Bernard. I'm playing with frogs with my grandson, and I'm seven hundred years old.
Craig: Heh heh. No, you're not.
Earl: I used to ride to work on a dinosaur.
Craig: Nuh-uh! Dinosaurs and people didn't exist at the same time. It's a fact!

The Haunted Dollhouse

  • Before deciding to help the kids, Tabitha proclaims that certain "sacrifices" will be necessary for the ritual to work. J.P. worryingly asks if that means him while she responds with a maniacal laugh.
    Tabitha: Awww.
  • The Witches decide to mess with the kids regarding the dollhouse, courtesy of of using a rock to pretend the ghost is saying yes or no. Craig cuts them off at the perfect time.
Tabitha: Spirit, am I the most beautiful witch in the creek?
    Craig: No!
    Tabitha: Hey...
  • Tabitha and Courtney's reaction to seemingly summoning an actual ghost: Making out in a panic.
    Courtney: Oh, hey...

The Tea-Timers Ball

  • When Kelsey imagines what will happen if she tells Aaron that she doesn't want to go to the dance with him, Aaron looks depressed at first, but then he takes a deep breath through his nose, and happily tells Kelsey it's okay, much to Kelsey's relief. That is, until Aaron starts floating up in the air, and says in dissonant happy tone while he quickly inflates like a balloon that he'll never love again just before he explodes into dust.
    • She realizes that she can't do that, and thinks that maybe she should go to the dance with him and says to herself "What's the worst that can happen?" She then immediately imagines her and Aaron as an elderly couple in a dark room with a clock just ticking away while they literally watch paint dry! Elderly Kelsey then says: "Take me now" causing a heavenly light to shine above her that makes her float up, inflate, and explode into dust. But, to top it all off is that just before she explodes she says: "I'm coming home, Morty."

  • Craig spends the episode convinced the dance is some elaborate form of revenge by Eliza. And he's right...except he's not the target.
Eliza: No no no, this party is for revenge on Sailor Boy for not inviting me onto his parent's yacht!
George: What's that, no invitation? Well that must hurt a yacht.
''(Sailor Boy uncovers his face to reveal tears coming down his cheeks and a snotty nose)
Sailor Boy: Daddy said I could only invite two friends. (covers his face again) A Boo-Hoo I say!
    • Afterwards, J.P. tries to cheer him up by saying that there are other kids at the Creek who have grudges against Craig which instantly cheers him up.

The Cardboard Identity

Kelsey the Worthy

  • During Kelsey's first trial, she argues with Craig that Slide the Ferret is the villain of the story while the boy believes otherwise.
Craig: The comic is called Slide the Ferret. His name is in the title! And everybody knows that if a character's name is in the title, then they're always the good guy!
Kelsey: That just means he's the main character. That doesn't make him the good guy.
Craig (the world around him cracks): GASP!

The Jinxening

  • For most victims of Paloma's jinxes, their mouths are simply sealed shut. But for Bobby, his entire mouth is blown off.
  • Paloma even manages to jinx Mortimor by saying "chirp". He gets a tiny and non-dramatic jinx.
  • J.P. somehow hears the jinxed Craig and Kelsey looking at each other incredulously behind his back.

    Season 3

"The Other Side: The Tournament"

  • Bernard has difficulties getting "Hubert" to say his name correctly, getting results like "Buttnard."
  • J.P. tells Bryson that he discovered seven new joints in his body, and demonstrates.
J.P.: Before you ask, we already went to the doctor, and they said it's un-curable!
  • Bryson has to be brought up to speed about The Other Side, and he's clearly a bit confused.
Bryson: This other side has a king, like a British dude?
  • Craig is amazed that Power Punchers HD Ultimate Remix has fifty new characters— "and only forty-five are PaletteSwaps!"
  • Maya is able to tell something's up way before Xavier does.
    Maya: You seeing this?
Xavier: (on his phone) Yeah, that little girl went flying. (looks up) Wait, she's alive?
"The Ground Is Lava!"
  • All of the kids treat a game of "The Ground is Lava" with utmost seriousness, and several "demises" are dramatically imagined, such as the swinging kid who is reduced to a skeleton, or Cannonball, who did a jump right as the lava started flowing.
    Cannonball: Aww, maaannnn... (splash)
  • One of the kids holed up in the treehouse is Roger the bridge troll, who suggests passing the time with his book of riddles. The next shot is someone chucking the book out the window.
"Council of the Creek: Operation Hive-Mind"
  • Craig tries to throw his popsicle away and ends up smacking Kit in the face.
  • When J.P. and Kelsey go to check on Craig after his bee-sting, J.P. brings flowers and a balloon that inexplicably says "Happy 40th Birthday" on it.
  • Kelsey somberly asks to see how "gross" Craig's wound is. When he reveals it, she yells and looks away... while simultaneously taking out her phone to snap a photo.
  • Yustice wants to fight the bees with her "Fireball Blast," which is just a dodgeball. She demonstrates it, and the ball immediately ricochets and hits Jason in the face.
  • The ending scene switches back to the bee's perspective:
Bee Queen: Our colony is safe once again... thanks to... those terrifying giant children!
"The Bike Thief"
  • J.P. tries to cheer the 10 Speeds up by saying the Junior Forest Scouts will help them, but Cannonball voices his doubts. Cut to the Scouts being preoccupied with Boris having been wrapped up in caution tape.
Jason: Ugh, Tony, stop taping everything!
Tony: But we never get to use it!
  • While interrogating Mackenzie, Craig asks her to swear "under oats."
"Craig of the Beach"
  • Jessica brings Duane a stack of towels almost three times the size of her entire body.
Jessica: (strained) I brought towels for everyone in my family!
Duane: How much family you think you got?
"The Ice Pop Trio"
  • J.P. has to end the video chat early because he "somehow ended up in a taxi by himself."
  • Sparkle Cadet does her self-introduction again. Only, this time, she trips and falls in the middle of it.
  • Barry and Mark get into an argument when Mark discovers Barry used the money in the "Elder Fund" to buy a book of magic tricks:
Mark: Magic tricks?! What the heck for?!
Barry: Magic tricks are great icebreakers at parties!
Mark: No one invites you to parties ya blockhead!
Barry: Yeah, 'cause I can't do magic yet!
    • Cannonball's reaction to this:
Cannonball: Why are they fighting over something so petty? Aren't these men like thirty?
"Fall Anthology"
  • During Craig's story about the Stump Trio climbing the tallest hill in the creek on a windy day, the wind is so strong JP's shirt is torn off. The scene then cuts to a grave they made to JP's shirt... which then blows away in the wind.
    • When the kids finally make it to the top of the hill, they immediately roll down, and then decide to go again... which leads to them rolling into the sky with the music playing in reverse.
    • Nicole's response to this story:
Nicole: So J.P. lost his shirt again? I feel like that boy never has clothes on.
  • The last segment has this gem when Kelsey is trying to talk Craig down from jumping into a giant leaf pile:
Kelsey: Your mom and dad can make new keys, but- but they can't make a new Craig! Well, I mean, technically, they can, but you know what I mean!
"Afterschool Snackdown"
  • In the introduction to the Afterschool Snackdown, all of the competitors get cool intro shots... except for poor Angel, whose shot depicts them struggling with two toddlers and cringing.
  • Everyone is touched by Craig's story behind the Spider Bites... everyone except Yustice.
Yustice: Oh, so we only like little sisters? No love for grandmas?!
  • Right at the very end of the contest, Kit is about to announce the winner... but a surprise competitor abruptly appears:
Roger: Hold up! You forgot about me! The Beloved Character, Roger! The bridge troll! Remember?
"I Don't Need A Hat"
  • The Stump Trio's plan of the day is to build a kite, strap Kelsey to it, and send her flying with it. Every time they refer to it as "Operation Flight Kite" they pose dramatically as Kelsey screams past on a kite. In one scene they pose with Kelsey on the ground only for a second Kelsey to scream past on a kite.
  • The kite flies away and somehow goes behind the sun before vanishing into the woods.
"Snow Day"
  • Tabitha and Courtney's "spell" for making it snow seemingly working. The two start to wonder if they might be witches after all.
    Tabitha: Wow, that actually worked.
Courtney: You know, this happens a lot. Do you think we might really be magic?
"Snow Place Like Home"
  • Jessica apparently thinks that "J.P." stands for "James Pajamas."
"Winter Creeklympics"
  • The Horse Girls compete in "curling," a.k.a, Marie curls Mackenzie's hair with a tree branch and sets it with water, which immediately freezes into an ice cube around the curl. They win a gold medal.
  • A photo is shown of the aftermath of an incident in which J.P. lost a permanent tooth, and Craig and Kelsey's expressions are hilariously horrified.

    Season 4
"The Legend of the Library"
  • The fact that Stacks is really bad at pretending that she isn't absolutely thrilled that a real life haunting seems to be taking place.
"Locked Out Cold"
  • Poor Bernard gets a lot of amazing reaction faces in this episode.
  • The revelation that Alexis apparently calls Bernard by the pet name of "Narnar." Even better, for the rest of the episode Craig and Jessica keep calling him that.
"Beyond The Overpass"
  • Craig leans on the fourth wall and summarizes the five-part Capture The Flag saga in dramatic Previously on… fashion. At the end, it's revealed he was telling it to Jessica, who could clearly care less.
Jessica: What do you want, a sticker?
Craig: No!...haha... I mean why, do you have one that says "Creek Saver" on it?
Jessica: You saved the Creek. Big whoop. I tried fish for the first time that wasn't a fish stick. Where's my parade, Craigy?!
  • Nicole apparently takes college choices very seriously:
Nicole: You're going to Howard. All of you.
    Jessica: Who's Howard?
  • Upon seeing Carter help reconstruct the skate ramps, Craig cracks a lame joke about construction ramping up. No one responds.
Craig: Ha... yeah, I guess they couldn't hear me.
    Carter and Warpspeed: We did.
  • A kid tries picking a fight with Omar due to a previous encounter that left him with a shaved scalp. He bemoans the fact that now everyone calls him "Tommy Top Hat".
Craig: That's actually kind of cool, Tommy.
    "Tommy”: My name. Is WOLFGANG!!!
"Sink or Swim Team"
  • When the Sewer Queen asks Frizboy to leave, he just flops down into the water and lets the current carry him away.
  • The face Craig makes when Sewer Queen reveals her plan along with his baffled "Excusez-moi?". He looks like he bit into a lemon. And when J.P. and Kelsey are confronted by the Sewer Kids with Frizboy revealing how Craig is trying to steal their Queen, they repeat the same facial expression, and Kelsey gives a more emphatic "EXCUSEZ-MOI?".
  • The plan immediately hits a snag when Craig realizes, in real time, that he's pretending to be the Sewer Queen's teammate without knowing her real name.note
  • Eileen's Lola asking her granddaughter if Craig is her boyfriend.
  • Kelsey and J.P. tail Craig to the Sewer Queen's house and manage to come to the conclusion that they're going to get married.
J.P.: Craig is getting married without us. How could he? He swore I could officiate!
  • During the fight, J.P. is seen wielding a pool noodle by saying that he will become Craig's best man.
"The Quick Name"
  • The Blur apparently had quite an experience during the Capture The Flag war:
Keun Sup: I had a lot of time to think while I was trapped in Cannonspace.
(flashback to Keun Sup spinning wildly through Cannonspace)
Keun Sup: WHAT DOES IT ALL MEEEAN?!?
  • The fact that not only Bryson but Uncle Darnell heard about Craig getting finessed.
Bryson: He says he can't be your uncle in public no more.
"The Chef's Challenge"
  • After knowing him for three seasons as the super serious Green Poncho, words can't describe seeing Omar moved to tears by a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
  • J.P. got some wires crossed during the cooking challenge and somehow produced a roast turkey dinner, complete with gravy on the side, a baguette, and lit candles.
    J.P.: I think I messed up.
"The Sparkle Solution"
  • Roger the Bridge Troll takes great offense to be referred to as a "goblin."
  • Craig's reaction to realizing that Roger is, once again, asking him a riddle.
  • Craig's leap of logic from "Titan Printing" causes Roger to utter a Flat "What". He eventually just walks away in bemused silence.
  • Among Sparkle Cadet's "nemeses" is a completely innocuous-looking kid named Colin. Her reaction implies she's completely horrified by him for some unexplained reason.
  • Kelsey and J.P. are charged with protecting Craig's homework while he's away, but find themselves involuntarily compelled to try and destroy it. They decide to put the homework inside the stump and barricade the entrance with duct tape. But then they fear that their destructive instincts will still overpower them, so they end up tying themselves up with tape. When they call Craig for help and Sparkle Cadet assumes they have been captured by a villain, Kelsey and J.P. play along rather than admit they did it to themselves.
"Better Than You"
  • Craig dislikes drawing horses so much that in the final version of Raj and Shawn's banner he just hides most of the horse behind some mountains.
  • Aggie pulls some seriously weird faces in this episode. J.P.'s assessment: "nobody with good intentions would lick a pencil like that."
J.P.: You're gonna get a splinter in your tongue, ya maniac!
  • For the second round of the drawing challenge, Shawn removes the erasers from Craig and Aggie's pencils so they can't erase their mistakes while drawing each other's portraits. In the heat of the moment, Aggie forgets and tears a hole on the paper, then tries to pass it off as a mouth. Craig complains that his mouth doesn't look like that... and his mouth is drawn all spikey so that it looks just like the hole.
  • Aggie and Craig's sweet moment of helping each other draw has an unexpected bit of hilarious Body Horror when Aggie offers tips on drawing horses... by forming her fingers into the shape of a horse. J.P. and Kelsey look appropriately baffled and disgusted.
  • The episode ends with Kelsey unexpectedly charging in frame and bashing her sword in Aggie's face with a freeze frame on everyone's reactions.
"The Dream Team"
  • Craig and Bryson have an overelaborate Secret Handshake that keeps going... and going... and going... complete with ominous close-ups of their sweaty, manic faces.
  • Craig and Bryson's bizarre calling of dibs on where to sleep:
Craig and Bryson: (pointing at couch) Couch!
Craig and Bryson: (pointing at floor) Floor!
Bryson: Now that we know where those are, where do you wanna sleep?
Craig: Let's both sleep on the floor, that way, we can lay under the coffee table like a tent!
    Bryson: Wait, what coffee table?
Craig: (gesturing at the coffee table that's just blinked into existence) That one right there.
    Bryson: Sick!
Earl: (off-screen) Y'all know we do have beds, right?
  • Earl ominously warns the boys not to pull the lever on the cart, reminding them what happened "last time". The camera cuts to a Craig-shaped hole in the ceiling.
  • Jojo unexpectedly breaks the fourth wall while scolding the boys:
Jojo: Enough! You two have been acting like a couple of goblins this entire episode!
  • During the scenes of Craig and Bryson laughing and charging through the house, at one point Craig is seen crawling on the wall like a fly while Bryson swings on a web like Spider-Man. This is never acknowledged or explained.
"Fire and Ice"
  • The sudden Art Shift at the end of Kelsey's story, going from the dramatic representation of Fire and Ice about to cut a dragon in half to Kelsey enthusiastically narrating over her crude crayon drawing.
"Chrono Moss"
  • When the mayor asks the Stump Kids if they want to hear more about Moss Village, she holds up signs saying "Yes" and "No", hinting for them to choose "Yes." As Kelsey decides which to pick, the mayor nonchalantly tosses the "No" sign.
  • To buy the "blood dragon armor" (a can of mosquito repellant), the kids need 5000 Bluepees, which they farm by clearing moss. They collect enough that the shopkeeper is completely buried in them.
"In Search of Lore"
  • Xavier claiming he's too mature to play in the Creek... while sipping on a crazy straw.
  • While the fight between the Elders of the Creek is serious, it does have this line:
Elder David: I'm going to go do something productive with my life.
    Elder Barry: No, not productive!
  • After Elder David leaves, Elder Mark says "He'll come crawling back. He has to, it's the only way to get under the rock."
"Opposite Day"
  • The kids being opposite leads to some amusing dialogue.
Kelsey: That kid's not in danger! I must not save him!
  • Opposite J.P. is a Drill Sergeant Nasty
"Adventures in Baby Casino"
  • The very idea of a casino ran by babies. And except for Big Baby, they are all just normal babies.
"Creek Talent Extravaganza"
  • Craig cancels the 10 Speed Kids' plan to jump over 20 cars, saying that the stage is not big enough. Cannonball then tells Todd to put away his toy cars.
  • We don't see Roger's act, but from the sounds of the audience, it wasn't for sensitive eyes.
Kid in Audience: Why would you do that in front of us?
"Dodgy Decisions" "Hyde and Zeke"
  • To lure out Hyde, J.P. becomes a game show host enticing him with a trip to the Bahamas. When nothing happens, the others complain that it's too big a prize and suggest the prize be something smaller so that it's convincing. J.P. chooses a tire lying some six feet away.
"Anniversary Box"
  • After Richard scams Craig out of his purse and keeps the jewelry box anyway, Jessica approaches him seemingly willing to trade Small Uncle for both. She then proceeds to send him flying into the air and slams him into the ground in a stunner.
  • Craig and Jessica are completely surprised that there was something inside the jewelry box, implying they thought the box was the gift.
Grandma Smugglers
  • The Trio immediately thirsting over Raj's dad.
J.P.: Dude, your dad is an absolute smokeshow. And I say that with the utmost respect.
"ScoutGuest"
  • When Craig is hesitant to have Jason spend the night, he decides to just build a shelter instead. We hear him building one offscreen, only to cut back and see Jason sitting inside a thin bunch of sticks that can only charitably be called a "shelter." He insists it's fine, and it immediately falls apart.
  • Bernard has to rescue Gibson early in the episode since he apparently lost a parade float in a race with a biker gang. And Craig's reaction implies this isn't the first time this happened.
