• During one of his first matches as The Funkasaurus, after a suplex by Clay, a fan is clearly heard yelling, "YOU SUCK, BRODUS!" Not missing a beat, Clay shimmied and yelled back, "MY BAD!", which cracked up the crowd. Clay kept it as his catchphrase.
• His debut - mainly jobber opponent Curt Hawkins's priceless nonverbal "WTF?" reaction, because it did a good job of capturing everyone's thought process at that moment.
• During his TNA run, Tyrus has some bad memories.
