In episode 8 Adon is put in charge of a strategic fortress. He performs his usual arrogant strutting until the Hawks completely bamboozle him and take the castle. He tries to escape by raft, but his men follow him and cling to it, causing the whole craft to tip while Adon tries to kick them off:
"This is outrageous of you! This raft is a precious heirloom that has been handed down through the Corbowitz family! Remove your armor, you can all swim, vermin!"
In the English dub, during the hundred man fight, one of Adon's men screams "BIIIIITCH" in an exaggerated way almost turning the scene into comedy.
Rickert retrieves a falcon, which lands on his glove:
Rickert: If this bird craps on my arm, I'm eating it.
Guts asking the soldiers under his command, right before they start cheering:
Guts: Alright, who's gonna jerk me off?
During the Hundred Man Fight, while he's chopping men in half, Guts suddenly starts thinking about the meaning of life:
Guts: What am I doing here? What are any of us doing here? My god! Owww. That really hurts. Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, the meaning of life, by Guts. What is the meaning of death?
The Queen and her noble conspirators are meeting after their attempt to kill Griffith:
Conspirator 2: Peasants and farmers have no idea to govern. Conspirator 3: Bazitch, please! Don't hate the player, hate the game! * laughs all around* Conspirator 4: Who let the dogs out?
The VAs continue to wax lyrical in the next scene when the building is set ablaze:
From the Volume 2 bloopers: Griffith (or rather, his Broadway star VA) singing.
He does it again in the Volume 3 outtakes TWICE (along with impersonating Dr. Evil because Minister Foss looks like Mini Me), and again in Volume 5. AND AGAIN IN VOLUME 6! One of the songs he chooses, of all songs, to sing is "Part Of Your World" from The Little Mermaid (1989)! Bonus points for all the characters having astonishingly appropriate confused expressions when he sings!
King of Midland: She is very shy. According to her, she is frightened of hardened warriors, so she rarely comes out of the palace. Charlotte, GET OVER HERE!
And another from Volume 2:
Rickert: They say that he's taken the heads of hundreds, or even thousands in (audible voice crack) battle! But that's not the only reason why he's feared...This one time, in band camp, he took his sword and stuck it up- *someone starts muffling his voice actress*
Also from Volume 5, in the middle of a conversation between Guts and Griffith about Casca, we get these gems:
Guts: You didn't notice that Casca put on a dress for the celebration, did you? Griffith: Did she? Guts: I think Casca was hoping that you would stuff her like a Thanksgiving turkey.
Or in another take:
Guts: You didn't notice that Casca put on a dress for the celebration, did you? Griffith: Did she? Guts: Life ain't nothing, but bitches... and money.
In Volume 6, Guts and the Hawks' reaction to the Eclipse:
After the Eclipse, John Avner (The VA of Void) tries to do his closing lines for the episode as always, only to be interrupted by the directors, telling him the show is over, and the final episode doesn't have Void narrating its conclusion. The following exchange is hilarious.
John (As Void): In this world, for- Director: Uh uh, that's all John. We don't need that stuff anymore, the show's over. John: Who are you!? I am the hand of God, hovering abo- Director: No no John John thanks, that'll be all. John: No! You have no control! Not even your own will! Director: Ohwoahwoahwoahwoah! No uh, no you're—it's the end of the series, that's the last episode. John: But this is... my will. Director: John, would you please get out of the booth? John: Who is John, I am the Hand of God, hovering—uh, hey-get your hands off- Director: John—would you please— John: Ohh, no—BOOGITY BOOGITY BOO! I am Void! BOOGITY BOOGITY BOO! Director: Security! John: Boogity boogity boo! Your efforts are worthless!!
