Being a stunt-based show, it should be no surprise that Beat the Clock has racked up its fair share of fun moments.

Bud Collyer (1950-61)
- (Nothing as of yet, but here just in case.)
Jack Narz (1969-72)
- The first episodes of this run didn't have the chosen letter duplicated under the card. Once, a couple chose the "L" and the Money Board subsequently read "BEAT THE C_OCK". So if you've ever wondered why there were duplicate letters under each card for most of the run, there you go.
Gene Wood (1972-74)
- Watching everyone, the contestants, the guest, even Gene messing about with a stunt from earlier in the show during the credits.
Monty Hall (1979-80)
- December 1979: The Clock "breaks"!Monty: According to our Clock, we have all day.
Mary Ann Mobley: That Clock knows how difficult this [stunt] is!
Monty (as the Clock fixes itself): All right, now if the Clock will get out of the ad-libbing business [and] let it leave it to the kids... - One stunt had contestants bouncing tennis balls to knock over targets. The tennis balls were getting everywhere, the buzzer goes off and suddenly there's a loud CRASH!!! Apparently a tennis ball knocked a light bulb loose from behind the clock and sent it to the floor.Monty: I don't know what happened but you'll pay for this!
