It's still a long road for Himari's diet journey.
  • The introduction of "The Suits" in HHW's story.
Kanon: K-Kokoro-chan... Who are these people, in the black suits... ?
Kokoro: Oh, erm... I dunno actually. I just know if I need to do something, I can tell it to these people and the very next day it's done.
  • The entire concept behind Hello, Happy World! is pretty much just Rule of Funny set to music. From their completely detached way of thinking when off-stage to their over-the-top theatricals while performing (equipping Michelle with rockets to let her fly after she is thrown out of a hot-air balloon (anime), or Kokoro’s idea to have Kaoru conjure up other animals than doves, including parrots, peacocks, lions, elephants and giraffes during a concert (mobile game)), everything they do is done with the goal of making the world smile.
    • HHW’s first concert in the mobile game. Several hours before the show, Misaki has told the others that they are to wait in the dressing room, even though they are free to leave until just before the concert. When the show does start, the first thing Kokoro does, before even introducing the band, is stage-diving...
    • From the Main Story, after Roselia suggests that Hello, Happy World! tries visualizing their shows in advance to perform better:
Misaki: "We never know when our blonde bomb might go off on stage, so I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to be prepared in advance..."
Kokoro: "Bomb? Someone call the authorities! We have to get rid of it!"
Misaki: (bluntly) “Trust me. I know.”
  • The Sakura Blooming Party event, which sees poor Arisa not only fulfilling her usual role as Poppin'Party's Straight Man but also having to deal with Eve, Hagumi, and Kokoro.
    • Arisa finally hitting her Rage Breaking Point after her friends try to plan a second sakura party in her basement without her consent is a sound not soon to be forgotten. It should be noted that the italicized part is all in one dialogue box, forcing the game to reduce the font size significantly to fit it all in!
Arisa: You guys...Why the hell aren't you asking me first?! A treasure hunt in my basement, really?! You're not just gonna be noisy, but you wanna mess up my place too?! And what happened to the sakura?! You can't even see them from the basement! Somebody say something about this stupid idea! It doesn't even make sense! Argh!
  • One casual overworld interaction between Tae and Arisa abruptly takes a turn:
Tae: Do you think I could borrow something sometime?
    Arisa: Yeah, go ahead.
Tae: I know your grandpa will be watching from heaven, so I'll take really good care of what I borrow.
    Arisa: He's still alive!!
  • One of the foot bath conversations in Girls Band Party has Tae asking Rimi if there's also a "hand bath" for one's hands and a "face bath" for one's face. Then she asks about full-body baths, with Rimi retorting "Isn't that just...a bath?"
  • Aya demonstrates a cute idol pose to mixed reviews:
  • In Hello Happy World!'s story:
    • When Kokoro asks Kaoru to join her band, the latter takes the former outside...before accepting the offer by launching into a Purple Prose-laden speech, the whole thing accompanied by a CG of Kaoru surrounded by sparkling roses looking like she's asking for Kokoro's hand in marriage and calling her "princess", while Kanon has a look of shock on her face.
    • Kokoro, Kanon, and Kaoru are trying to hand out posters for their new band in the shopping district, but they basically get tumbleweeds for their efforts. Then Kokoro sees Michelle serving as the shopping center's mascot and handing out flyers to children and gets an idea. Misaki (inside the Michelle costume) realizes This Is Gonna Suck and Kokoro's suits pull Misaki's manager aside to buy the rights to the character, making her hand out the band's posters instead.
    • And then when Misaki did reveals herself as the person in Michelle costume, everyone (except Kanon) thinks that she swap places with the real Michelle. Misaki gives up on reasoning to the trio (Which she dubbed them as the Three Idiots).
  • The Runaway Rabbits event has some more fantastic moments with Arisa and Tae:
Tae: Yeah, but I had the wrong idea. Telling me you wanted to meet alone after school... alone in a classroom...
Arisa: (blushing) I'm not some character from a girl's manga!
Tae: ...I thought you wanted to have a fistfight.
  • In the Happy Summer Vacation event, Lisa, Himari, Ako, and Aya get to see Rinko in a swimsuit, are surprised and speechless at what they see, and Lisa simply reacts by saying that she's impressed. They don't outright state what they're referring to, but it's easy enough to infer.
  • Ako and Yukina in an area conversation talk about how Ako can look cooler when she goes drumming. After Yukina turns down Ako's first suggestion because of how impractical it is, Ako then jokingly suggests using drum sticks with cat paws on them. Cue Yukina immediately agreeing and seriously considering her having to try it out despite Ako only kidding about it.
  • In the "The Impromptu Wedding Dress" event story, Kaoru gives us this gem:
Kaoru: "Ahh... What a fabulous day. It seems the sun is putting up a fight, in an attempt to not be outdone by my elegance."
  • Ran’s scream in the Cursed Well and the School Spirit event is hilarious.
  • In one random area-conversation in the Shopping Mall with Kokoro alone, she says the shopping mall is a really fun place, but that it could be even more fun if it had a rollercoaster.
  • At the start of the Halloween 2019 update, in area-conversations involving Lisa, her name was mistakenly put as Saya. Cue the allegations of secret identities, name changes, doppelgangers, swapping bands, shipping, and the community collectively losing their minds.
  • Moca’s Mocaisms.
Moca: I’m way Tsugurific. I’m Mocatastic too, baby~
  • Kokoro doesn’t understand the difference between the bass and a guitar.
Kokoro: The bass and the guitar are the same!
    • This is made even funnier because Kokoro says this right after Hagumi talks about her past experiences with guitar and compares them, saying the bass is more difficult than she had imagined.
    • What really sells it is how Hagumi just agrees with Kokoro despite having just compared the two.
  • Kaoru making a profound observation.
Kaoru: I just came to an important realisation... A great guitarist and a great actor are quite similar...
    Hagumi: Hm? How so?
    Kaoru: They are both... great.
    • Even funnier might be Hagumi’s response.
Hagumi: ...You’re right! Wow... You’re so smart, Kaoru-kun!
  • In Season 3 of the anime, CHU2 and PAREO chasing Rokka and a completely innocent Asuka around the Haneoka campus, much to Rokka's dismay, as at the time, she didn't feel like she was good enough to join RAS, and didn't want to embarrass herself at an audition. The fact that CHU2, for whatever reason, assumes that Asuka is Rokka's manager despite Asuka refuting this immediately, just makes the whole scene even better.
    • From the same scene, the members of Afterglow had been holding a meeting on the roof, agreeing that since they had a prior commitment on the same day as the BanG Dream contest, and wouldn't be participating. They hear the commotion of CHU2 chasing Rokka, and, being Rokka's friends and no fan of CHU2's rude behavior, call words of encouragement to Rokka while her pursuer shouts at them to mind their own business.
  • Meta example: Red Bull Gaming's official Twitter, of all people, tweeting something about "every esports team picture ever" (i.e. a photo group of certain esports team with Badass Armfold). Said tweet uses the introductory scene of Poppin'Party from the first episode of GARUPA☆PICO comedy shorts.
  • In Episode 8 of Season 2, everyone gathers to watch the rehearsal of the band cobbled together for the dual culture fest. Ran is standing at the foot of the stage, arms crossed, a slight hint of a pout on her face as she watches Moca perform with another band.
  • Season 3, several girls go to a hot spring together. The hijinks ensue.
    • Lisa, of all people, suggests a pillow fight.
    • Proving their "One soul, two bodies" assessment, Ran and Moca both get overheated and lying next to each other with ice packs on their heads.
    • Yukina is just as overheated as some of the others, her skin very red, but she refuses to pass out like the others. She considers that she may have spent too long in the bath when she sees a teddy bear shape (Michelle) silhouetted in the steam.
  • In one of the 4-koma strips, Misaki reveals to Tomoe, Himari, and Tsugumi that Moca had helped Hina and Kokoro plan a trip for the group to take Lisa to Chinatown. Misaki even reveals that Moca (whose epithet is "Go My Way") was leading the conversation. The other members of Afterglow nod, saying that if they were in a manga, Moca would be an Advisor or Evil Mastermind, with an image of a bearded Moca in the background going "Ho Ho Ho". Misaki nervously wonders what Moca is like with her band mates.
  • In one 4-koma, Tomoe asks Saaya if it's alright that the posters from her photoshoot with Kaorou are still up in the Yamabuki Bakery, wondering if it might not give people the wrong idea. Saaya says it's fine, as people know it was just to model for the clothing shop, but then she spots Kaorou and asks her to come with her. She and Kaorou emerge a moment later with bags of groceries, and Saaya informs Tomoe that the shops play along and give them a "family discount" because of the posters.
