    Episode 1 - Runaway Raccoon

  • The dramatic ending of the first episode, with Michiru insisting that she's human, loses some of its edge when Shirou blinks and says "then why do you look like that?"

    Episode 2 - Rabbit Town

  • When Michiru is teaching the kids how to read, she writes her name on the board and asks them to guess what it says. One guesses "poop."
    Michiru: ...close, but not quite.
  • When trying to free the shipping container Michiru extends her arms into the control pod and pulls what she thinks is a lever, but in actuality she's choking out the beastman operating the crane.

    Episode 3 - Rhino Melancholy

  • Shirou, without warning, barges into Michiru's room and drags her out by the collar, leaving her too baffled to react until she's thrown in a closet.
  • After Shirou stacks all the furniture in front of the door to trap Michiru, the Mayor arrives. Michiru yells for help loud enough to rattle the windows.
Shirou: That was Kurou. He's learned to mimic voices.
Kurou: [lands on his shoulder and caws]
Mayor: [menacingly] Open that door. Now.
  • Once she's let out Michiru demands Shirou be arrested for kidnapping, leading to this humorous exchange a few lines later:
Mayor: Would you also let me drop the charges of keeping you in captivity?
    Michiru: [pouting] ...Okay.

    Episode 4 - Dolphin Daydream

  • Flip, the intimidating mob boss, comes home with a giant armful of presents for his daughter, grinning like an idiot. And then he spots his daughter's bodyguard kneeling on the ground, begging for forgiveness, and immediately shifts back to angry.
  • At the beastman-themed party, one of the party-goers sees that Michiru (currently in human form) doesn't have an animal mask, so she sticks fake ears on her right where her tanuki ears would be. Michiru, understandably, huffs in annoyance.

    Episode 5 - Greedy Bears

  • Michiru accidently uses her gorilla arms when throwing back the ball, the sheer force of the spin she put on the ball making Jackie spin around her glove in circles. Cue an embarrassed Michiru hiding under her basketball and seat-hopping away from the other spectators.
  • We don't see it, but when recruiting Michiru the Bears strip her to put her in a uniform, throwing all her clothes (and an octopus for some reason) off to the side.
  • When asking Michiru join their team, Jackie bows her head so hard she shoves it right through the floor.
  • Michiru, thoroughly pissed off at the opposing flamingos, throws the ball hard enough to blow all the feathers off the flamingo.
  • The coach keeps telling everyone to bunt, and the enemy team keeps hunching up really close to catch it.
  • When Michiru runs into Mary, Mary abruptly and aggressively corrects Michiru in that she is a mink and not a weasel. Michiru comments after that she didn’t even get a chance to say anything.
  • Really, just the idea of baseball as a blood sport. The Bears (who have been on the sharp end of this policy the entire time) don't even understand the concept of not killing your opponents.
Bear: What if we just injure them really, really badly?
    Michiru: No!
  • The kicker of the whole episode: Shirou, who was asked by the Mayor to investigate the baseball gambling, returns the stolen money to the hustlers and lies to the Mayor because he's a fan and placed his own bets.

    Episode 6 - Fox Waltz

  • Marie sticks Michiru with a 500 thousand yen bill for her phone, forcing her to get a job (selling useless "water purifiers" in the slums) to pay her back.
  • Jackie is about to be burned at the stake, and she’s distracted by a wandering fly that lands on her nose and tries to catch it with her tounge.

    Episode 12 - Anima-City
