  • "My bag! You took my bag!"
  • The Black Scorpion leader threatens Phileas Fogg with his bracelet.
Phileas: Your threats do not frighten me, nor does your silly bracelet. (then a blade pops out of the bracelet)
Phileas: ...All right, it's not silly.
  • Lau Xing is fighting while the caged Phileas coaches him, and not doing a very good job of it.
Fogg: Watch out to the right! (Lau Xing misses)
Fogg: No, my right. (Lau Xing gets hit)
    Lau Xing: Stop helping me!
  • What's really funny is seeing Jackie Chan after the Wright brothers find him.
Phileas Fogg: Have you seen our companion?
Wilbur Wright: You mean the half-naked Chinese man with a cow skull on his head singing Frère Jacques?
  • When Fogg, Lau Xing and Monique are escaping by hot air balloon in Paris, Lau Xing ends up hanging from a rope attached to the basket and crashing into things. A lot. Then he hits a statue.
Fogg: Very impressive; I'd have let go by now.
  • Van Gogh's brief cameo in the film.
  • While taking a train across India, Fogg gets some of his notes eaten by a goat within the carriage. After Lau Xing moves the goat away, Fogg ends up in a discussion with Monique and some children about the Ten Tigers of Canton; he dismisses the story as a "ridiculous legend", leading to the following exchange:
Girl: Most legends are born from truth.
Fogg: Yes, but all truths are born from facts. Solid, tangible facts, that can be calculated and written down on paper.
Monique: And then eaten by a goat.
    [Everyone laughs, including Fogg.]
  • Monique's (epic fail) at trying to take a fighting stance against the sword lady.
  • To viewers who understand Mandarin, the Chinese Jail scene offers some extra laughs. The man jailed for public urination isn't screaming to be let out because he's bored, he's actually screaming "Let me out, my butt really itches! Please, I beg of you, let me out!". Doubles as a Bilingual Bonus.
  • Fogg claiming that he doesn't need Lau Xing's help, since he already got a new guide. It's the man jailed for public urination. And he's urinating in public again. He is immediately re-arrested, much to Fogg's chargrin.
  • Lau Xing's father is trying to make a speech regarding him returning their sacred Buddha, only for his Grandma to continuously interrupt by saying "Kampei!"note . It gets to the point that he has to speed through his speech to finish it before she can cut him off again. At which point, he barks “Kampei!” himself.
    • Also as funny is that every time Grandma said "Kampei!", she'd refill Fogg's cup and make him drink again, causing him to get very drunk.
  • The scene on the boat where Fogg is on his last few days to get back to England and the captain says the ship wouldn't make it in time(and have even decided to resort to burning all of the crew's shoes to make the boat's engine go faster.) This leads Fogg to see a bird in the sky and gets an idea to build an airplane, but the captain mistakes his idea for something else.
Captain: Excellent idea, Fogg! We'll burn birds!
    • After breaking apart the boat to make a plane and a runway for the said plane, the captain and his crew are stuck in the ocean, wondering how they'll get back to land now.
  • Anything involving Inspector Fix, which is pure, hilarious slapstick, due to him getting injured frequently.
