The Anglerfish Stratagem

  • Pam keeps trying to twirl her new revolver but fails to prevent it from going off.
  • Throughout the episode, Cheryl keeps kebob skewers on hand and keeps trying to stab someone with them.
  • Just as Lana is trying a new policy in transparency, a dead body ends up being discovered in her office.
  • Lana is dismayed upon realizing that she's starting to become Malory.
  • The dead body that was found in the office is disposed of by Krieger shoving it down the elevator shaft.
  • Pam's advice to Lana regarding the employees' complaints about the dead body amounts to: blame Cyril, show Tough Love, and give them a raise. To Lana's own surprise, this works.

30 for 30

  • Lana's attempt to get to Greece via the airport to help Archer's team hits a snag due to Cheryl and Krieger bringing knives and biological weapons respectively.
  • Archer comments on the fact that the guard assigned to an underwater cave was unable to hold his breath for very long after Archer drowns him in about ten seconds.
Archer: Hang on, did you already drown? It's been like, ten seconds. Uh, note to Vanguard, the guy guarding the water jail should probably have bigger lungs than a canary.
  • Krieger, Cheryl, and Lana end up getting wrapped up in and gagged with tape due to disrupting the flight for the other passengers.
  • Archer and Zara fight over who gets to knock out the last member of the Vanguard.
  • When it briefly seems like Archer's team is dead, Krieger offers to bring them back as dogs if any of their DNA can be found.
  • Ray breaks out of his bindings only after the team escapes from the exploding building while tied to chairs.
  • Zara requests that if she were to be hired by the Agency, that she would be paid what Archer is paid plus $1, on the basis that she was the best at Interpol and will be the best at whatever the Agency does. Lana agrees, to Archer's chagrin.

Plaque Removal

  • Pam has been practicing an English accent that unfortunately sounds very bad.
Zara: (after hearing it) Offensive. You're lucky I like you, otherwise that would be the last air your throat ever pushed out.
    • Archer is of the opinion that Pam using a very bad English accent doesn't count as offensive if the accent comes from a really white country.
Lana: You.. don't get to decide that.
  • After Archer fails to perform, he desperately tries to either believe it's the result of a curse, or get another shot at sleeping with Clarissa to prove that he's normally able to perform.

Chill Barry

  • Krieger reveals that he regularly siphons energy from the country's electrical grid but refuses to say if he siphons it to the office or somewhere else.
  • Barry is repeatedly used as a weapon.
  • Archer decides to give Barry some words of encouragement.
"Well, whenever I'm at my lowest, I always return to one fundamental truth. At least I'm not Cyril."
  • After Other Barry is defeated, it's revealed that Barry only needed the screen to stay alive, which is lampshaded by Pam.
Pam: Wait, we could've just taken this off and not carry that goddamn fridge around!?
Archer: Well, best not to think about it.

Keys Open Doors

  • Archer sums up why the Agency's newest client only wants the new drugs off the street.
"Got it. Eliminate the drugs that are hurting your business, ignore the drugs that are helping it."
  • Krieger's suggestion to improve the efficiency of the "office drones" is feed them gourmet cuisine that they are later told is actually lab grown human flesh.
  • It's revealed that the office drones grew concerned when Krieger and Cheryl acted as normal as possible because they thought the two of them were "masterminds who were feigning normalcy but planning a psychosexual game of life or death". Once they realize they're just "idiots who've been given too much power", they go back to doing their jobs.

Face Off

  • When Cheryl claims that she has worse secrets than the things she tells everyone, Archer immediately stops Cyril from asking what these worse secrets are.
  • Cheryl's reaction to Gary revealing that he's wearing a bomb vest is to simply mutter "Awesome.".
  • El Cambiante's attempt to kill Archer with his tiny fan fails because it's made of soft plastic.
  • Pam asking if they should worry about "what Dr. Spencer's turning into". Cue Krieger with a remote detonator and the building rumbles a second later. His blasé "no" just ties it all together.

Mission Out of Control Room

  • Lana's attempt at being dramatic is ignored by all the drones. In contrast, the drones celebrate when Cheryl comes in with a giant submarine sandwich for everyone.
    • The drones are less overjoyed when they later have to perform an impromptu mass evactuation for an...impromptu mass evacuation. Turns out Cheryl had gotten that submarine sandwich about a week ago and had been stashing it in her desk until it had started to smell, and thus brought it out to get rid of it.
  • Cheryl's note on Ray's objection over who gets to be team leader is written down as "Ray whines about some bullshit."

Breaking Fabian

  • Cheryl offhandedly remarks that she hasn't paid taxes or gone to a dentist in 20 years.
  • Archer pokes fun at Fabian's Mixed Metaphor.
Fabian: Well, well, well, look what the cat vomited up.
Archer: Um, that's not how that goes. Idiot.
  • Lana insults the UN before she's set to talk to them, only to be told that her mic is already on and that the UN representatives heard her insults.
  • It's revealed that the "top of the line" drones can't scan through mud because Ray used up most of the drone budget on himself.
  • After Fabian gives up after realizing that everyone hates him, Pam attempts to cheer him up.
Fabian: I'm giving up. Let the drones take me. For what is life without the respect of my peers?
Pam: Hey bud, you have my respect.
Fabian: I don't really care about that.
  • When the door to the room needed to shut the drones down closes partway due to it being designed for one person with Archer and Fabian's cuffs keeping the door open. Archer decides to cut out the middle man and cut Fabian's hand off for the finger print scanner. After which Archer (At Zara's request) gives Fabian his hand back...while flipping him off with it.

Into the Cold

  • When Pam asks Ray if anyone could defend spy agencies from being disbanded, Ray reveals that the North Koreans pointed out why they should be disbanded.
Ray: Well, the North Koreans said we're an excellent example of the fatal contradictions of capitalism.
Pam: Damn. Why do the people who hate us have the best arguments?
Ray: I mean, the easy answer is cause they're right, but the correct, more complex answer is, uh... very complex?
  • Archer was so distracted by the women he was having a threesome with that not only did he forget what the mission is, but he doesn't even know what country he's currently in.
  • As the drones are leaving the Agency due to their "hiatus", Lana finds that one of them left a literal bag of shit.
  • As Cyril, Cheryl, Krieger and Barry are cleaning the bottom of the elevator shaft, Cyril asks how many they've pushed down there.
Krieger: Uh, I did two or three.
Cheryl: Two or three bodies. Not so bad.
Krieger: Oh ho ho, no. Two or three ballparks.
  • Barry tells Cyril that pouring water from his refrigerator body feels like peeing to him right after the latter takes a sip of the water he just got from the former.
  • Cheryl has no idea what rent is.
Krieger: Do you not know what rent is?
Cheryl: I want to say... a kind of poor people food, like, kibble.
  • Archer brags about how awesome he is in front of witnesses who are recording him, despite the fact that he's naked and that his actions resulted in the decapitation of the Christ the Redeemer statue.
  • Krieger plugs Barry into a projector to give him a hologram body. It results in him manifesting as himself but wearing Mitsuko's clothes.
  • Lana gets a drunk soldier's number by bluntly telling him that she wants to have sex and to exchange numbers so that she can call him later. It's later revealed that he saved her number under "Lady Who Want To Have Sex?".
  • After Barry is transferred into a new body, it's revealed that it's the size of an action figure. Krieger defends himself by saying it's only a prototype.
  • After hurting herself by jumping off a speeding motorcycle, Cheryl takes the time to shoot the ground while calling it stupid.
  • Katya and Barry fuse their consciousnesses, only for them to not work together properly in the former's body.
Barry: This is like the worst three legged race of all time.
