• Even when the soldiers are dying of hunger, Guzman is gorging on the food. When Guzman is distracted, everyone sneaks in and starts eating the food on the table, even Carvajal!
• "The long arrows are getting fashionable."
• Aguirre reprising his Rousing Speech while addressing a squirrel monkey. It's every bit as absurd as it sounds. At one point, the monkey takes a dump as Aguirre is holding it.
