• Not long after Cypher states that he will be able to see everything that happens to Kitai, Kitai nearly slips off a rock face due to a giant crawling spider on his hand.
  Cypher: What happened?
  Kitai: You didn't see that?
• The part where Cypher is trying to maintain his own composure while he repeatedly urges his panicking son to stop running in fear; Kitai is too traumatized to listen and becomes more fearful, grabbing his cutlass, that's when his father finally loses his composure and tells Kitai to "put his damn cutlass away".
  "You are running from NOTHING!"
• After Kitai is able to give himself the antitoxin to cure his poisoning, he simply lies on the ground trying to regroup himself and finds the only response to that ordeal that he can:
  Kitai: That sucked.
  Cypher: (Beat) That is correct.
  • Hell, it's also funny because the exchange could be seen as the actors talking about the movie they're in.

• When Kitai and Cypher are re-united safely at the end:
  Kitai: Dad?.....I want to work with Mom.
  Cypher: Me too.
• When Cypher is talking about how he first ghosted. He had his shoulder shot by an Ursa's pincer and was pushed into a river, with the creature trying to drown him. After he settles things in his mind, Cypher says this:
  "I look at my shoulder, and see its pincer sticking out... and I decide... I don't want that in there anymore"
• Whether you think it's intentionally funny or unintentionally so: "My suit's turned black...I-like-it-but-I-think-it's-something-bad!"
