• Of course Alex kept Matt and Lisa apart, but she also had brought them together in the first place by bringing Lisa's videotape and Lisa along to Matt's work. She also actually decides to bring them back together before Lisa leaves for London by giving the letter to Matt and by calling Lisa.
• When Matt and Alex first talk (on Luke's phone), she advises him to go back to the apartment. That seems like small talk, but she might want Matt to meet her there. Or to meet Lisa there, because at that point she doesn't know yet that Lisa doesn't want to go back to the apartment.
