Fridge Brillance

  • When Selina sings "50 Ways to Win in Denver" she finishes the song by rhyming "Israel" with "Catherine", which, of course, don't rhyme at all. "Palestine" on the other hand...
  • In "Midterms", Selina remarks that the President is so hapless because of his reliance on advisors like Ben and Kent. By the start of season 4, Ben and Kent are key advisors to President Meyer and her hapless presidential campaign.
    • Come the Grand Finale, when she needs to win her party's nomination, she realizes she doesn't know what to do when Ben gets hospitalized, until he encourages her to find a solution on her own. It’s Not Quite the Right Thing for Ben to have said, as it results in Selina going through with some of the most terrible decisions she's ever made, including choosing Jonah as her running mate in spite of Kent outright begging her to not go through with that to the point that he quits when she does anyways. Selina's not so hapless anymore...
  • In the ending, Selina dies to old age 24 years after the present day. Meanwhile, the similarly-aged or older aged Kent, Mike, Andrew, Tom, Montez, and Furlong (and originally, even Hughes, despite Selina calling him old) are still alive. Studies have shown that anger and a bad temper can lead to a shorter lifespan.
  • Also in the ending, it's mentioned that Tom Hanks starred in Philadelphia 2. Considering that Selina apparently permanently banned gay marriage, Hollywood probably figured they could/had to remake the movie to be more lawful. Plus, it's a Take That! at Hollywood's tendency to make unnecessary sequels to movies that don't need it.
