    Fridge Brilliance
  • The show says that characters like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck were around since 1933 when they didn't actually exist before their first cartoons. Except they were... as Acme Loo students. Just because someone graduates from a prestigious university doesn't mean they immediately get a job, the time between 1933 and their debut cartoons is how long it took them to get hired.
  • Buster's initial distaste towards Merlin the Magic Mouse being allocated as his mentor. In-universe, it’s because he wanted to work with Bugs. On a meta level, it reflects the reception that the Seven-Arts era Looney Tunes have been given. Looking like Hanna-Barbera rejects, Merlin, alongside Cool Cat, Bunny and Claude, etc, has been deemed The Scrappy. The fact that Merlin plays a role in the episode Extra, So Extra represents how long these characters have languished in obscurity until Looniversity brought them back.
  • Despite briefly being Adapted Out and then brought back, Elmyra is nowhere to be seen throughout the first ten episodes of the reboot. Even Monty appeared in Save the Loo Bru. That said, if one looks at the start of the intro, where the cast bursts out of the entrance doors, Monty and Elmyra are both at the very back, shrouded in darkness. Her appearance is being saved for a role as the main antagonist.
  • Porky Pig works in the university budget office, managing tuition fees and accountant duties. That is to say, Porky is a bean counter.
  • So, in "The Show Must Hop On", Babs casts her friends as characters they did not have in mind. Buster as Elmer Fudd, Plucky as the cactus, Hamton as Bugs Bunny and Fifi as Granny. Her reasoning for the first three are explained in the show. But her reasoning for Fifi is visually told as opposed to verbal. Fifi auditioned to play Lola: the “coolest female in all of Acme history”. Lola is definitely well-liked on campus and very talented. But Granny is not only one of the founding members of Acme Looniversity, but she fought in World War II, is a biker girl and is the Dean to boot. Even though she’s elderly and doesn’t care about fashion, she’s just as cool as Lola.
  • In Save The Loo Bru, we learn that Dizzy lives in the apartment above the Loo Bru, which is run by Taz. And given that Dizzy is Taz's Junior Counterpart, it makes perfect sense for him to live next to his mentor!
