• Tiger the Great is far more skilled and experienced than Tiger Mask in using fouls yet is completely overwhelmed when the latter snaps and starts using them, even before it gets really bad. Tiger the Great being the Big Bad and so much more formidable than his previous opponents, he was rarely if ever inflicted them so he can't tank them as well as someone who spent the last two years powering through Tiger's Cave fouls...
• After snapping during the fight with Tiger the Great, Naoto uses his cape to confuse and immobilize his opponent and then starts hitting him savagely, a move that had been previously used on him by Red Death Mask. Back when he was part of Tiger's Cave, Naoto was supposed to eventually become Red Death Mask's Superior Successor, it makes sense they both thought about weaponizing their cape.
  • This also applies to the manga, though in different circumstances: during the World Heel Championship, Dick the Bruiser threw a bucketful of gasoline and a lit cigar at Tiger Mask, getting him mostly on the cape, and Tiger Mask first went through an old Tiger's Cave drill where he'd wear a sweater soaked of gasoline and lit on fire (the goal being to increase the speed when on the ground) to put it off enough to remove the burning cape without setting the rest of the gas on fire-and then immediately weaponized the still burning cape.
