Fridge / The Simpsons S4 E3 "Homer the Heretic"

• Fridge Brilliance: To reinforce how different God is from people in the Simpsons universe, He has five fingers.
• Fridge Horror: The candy bar that Santa's Little Helper steals from Homer's pocket (and presumably eats) while trying wake him up during the house fire is implied to be a Hershey's chocolate bar. In real life, chocolate is very toxic to dogs and can even be fatal if they ingest large amounts of it.
• Fridge Logic: After the church service, Marge finds out her car broke down on account of the engine freezing over. This doesn't answer the question of why no one else's cars stalled in the blizzard since they were in the exact same situation (especially since the episode implied that Marge and the kids were late to church on account of waiting for Homer).
  • Maybe she just had an old battery. It's an older car.
