Fridge Brilliance
- It's understandable that not all of the kids are present in some episodes. It's not always easy to wrangle six puppeteers, give all of the characters screen time, and develop them all.
- It also makes sense that certain characters aren't present for certain storylines, because they would have taken the plots in different directions. For example, Ben's absence in "The Ballad of Davy Cricket": if he had been there, he would have had to talk about his father's death. Since the episode is already heavy for its target age group, discussing the deaths of pets and extended family members, the writers probably didn't want to make it too heavy by discussing the death of a parent too.
- It makes sense Jody should be the character who likes anchovies on her pizza, defying their Stock "Yuck!" status. Since she's Jewish and reasonably observant, she likely keeps kosher, which means that anchovies are the only type of meat topping she can have on her pizza, as fish is the only animal that can be eaten with dairy.
