The different coloring Magolor has on for the events of this game appears to be a "worker's uniform", further supported by him going back to his original white and blue once you buy everything from his store once he sells everything he can possibly sell.
King D-Mind's alternate version seems like a lazy Palette Swap right? It's possible that due to its platinum colouring that he's made of metal. After all, both of his weapons are made of metal, he appears to have connections to Parallel Susie, and Dark Mind himself appears to be partially metallic.
On certain days of the week, you receive a double amount of one kind of fragment; Fire Fragments on Tuesday, Water Fragments on Wednesday, and Light Fragments on Friday. These are not completely random choices, but are actually based on the literal meaning of the Japanese names of these days: Tuesday = Kayōbi (fire day), Wednesday = Suiyōbi (water day), Friday = Kinyōbi (gold day).
