Item Drops

  • Limon the Sprite Goddess drops the Staff of Extreme Prejudice and Cloak of the Planewalker, which doesn't really make sense. Then you remember how Limon usually attacks...
    • Ironically enough, the Planewalker is one of the best items for running Sprite Worlds.
  • The primary source of Wisdom Potions is the Undead Lair. Of course the dead carry a lot of wisdom...
  • Why does Janus drop the Spiteful Scutum of all things? A scutum is a type of Roman shield. Janus was originally a Roman god.
  • Gulpord drops the Murky Toxin, which makes sense. But what about the Void Blade? Well, considering that you can find the Master Rat, pizza, and 4 suspiciously-familiar turtles in said sewers...
  • Bes, one of the Tomb bosses, drops the Ring of the Pyramid and the Tome of Holy Protection, both of which are invaluable defensive items. Well, not only is he the designated tank, but Bes was originally heralded as a god of protection...
  • Why would the Puppet Master 2 drop the Thousand Shot, which is described as using the most advanced mechanical systems around? Well, anyone that can make animated magical puppets must have a lot of knowledge on mechanical craftsmanship...
  • Why does the Quiver of Thunder drop from Greater Nature Sprites of all things? Well, thunder is a force of nature, is it not?

Items

  • Why do Daggers have longer range than Swords? It's because while Sword classes are slashing with their weapons, Dagger classes are more likely to be throwing them.
  • Royal Jelly from The Nest has a very odd Feed Power of 37. The Beekeeper stated that Killer Honey is made from 7.45% Ambrosia, and since Royal Jelly is all but purified Killer Honey, it makes more sense.note
  • The ST Skull, Memento Mori, is the only Skull that cannot heal you and has no HP bonus. Its name translates to "remember death" in Latin.
  • The Quiver of the Shadows is the only Quiver that pierces armor. That's because its arrows are heavily implied to not actually be physical.
  • The Quiver of Thunder inflicts Daze to the first target it hits. Now what would your response be if you got an extremely bright thunderbolt thrown at you?
  • The Plague Poison, hence the name, is harvested from plague victims. Fittingly, it behaves like a real plague: it infects many and kills slowly.
  • The Thanksgiving Turkey has an extremely odd Feed Power of 1621. When was the first Thanksgiving again?
  • The graphic for the admin-only Cultist Hideout key is a boulder, recycled from the projectiles of the Lost Halls bosses. Why go through the hassle of battling a cowardly golem when you can just drop a rock on the comparatively-tiny trapdoor and jump in?
