Fridge Horror:

  • This story about a dentist filing fraudulent claims against a special government insurance for First Nations residents takes on an additional layer of horror when you consider dental records are sometimes used to identify a body if the corpse is too marred for facial recognition (such as after a severe car accident). With the dentist filing for payment of several things that a patient never actually got, including some cosmetic procedures, the dental records of that patient would basically be unusable for the purpose because they'd be impossible to match to the correct patient.
  • As one comment on the "Watching Your Career Just Flutter By" asks, how long or how many other people has he been doing that to? Probably not long, since he's a new apprentice, but still...
  • In this story, a woman and her daughter have a run-in with a rude cashier who judges them for being on welfare. A month later, they run into the cashier's much nicer twin sister, who's also a cashier at the same store, and think they're the same woman until the second twin explains that it was her sister who was rude to them, not her. How many times a day/week/month does the polite twin get blamed for something rude her sister said or did to a customer? (Someone in the comments section even points out that "[it sounds] like one sister is sick and tired of being blamed by others for her sister's crap.")
  • In this story, a coworker's prank call is mistaken for an genuine customer's phone call until the caller came clear, because it was far from being the weirdest call the submitter ever received. You wonder what level of idiocy had to deal with in their actual work calls, because this seemingly plausible conversation included the caller not knowing their own name.
  • This story focuses more on a pizza delivery driver freaking out because they apparently thought that the OP's passport was a police badge, but multiple commenters are more worried about the fact that the driver strongly smelled of marijuana, which indicates that he was driving while stoned.
