Fridge Brilliance

  • The chorus is pretty clever on two fronts:
    • On one, it at first seems to be building up to the phrase "you make me complete" which is rather sweet. Then it slaps you with the "you make me completely miserable" which subverts the previous line entirely.
    • As a whole, it describes the build up and break down of a bad relationship. First the relationship is purely physical, then things take a turn for the romantic, then as things break down it becomes toxic.

Fridge Horror

  • Coming from the music video, there's a moment where A.Jay swings his arm and the woman's head flies back with her hair whipping around her face. Isolated, they don't seem like much, but the way they are spliced together it almost makes it look like he struck her, implying this bad relationship is also abusive, possibly physically so.
