Fridge Brilliance
- The infamous scene where Freddie first meets Michael and basically tells him to go fuck himself
may, at first glance, make Michael look ridiculously out of character. After all, this is Michael Myers; he is not supposed to be made to look like a fool by Busta Rhymes, of all people! But pay attention to what Freddie tells Michael:"You need to take your ass in the back of the garage with Nora. That's your job! Go back there to Nora and help her ass out. Go do the job. I left the back door unlocked for your ass to go out the back into the garage! That's what I did. You need to get the hell out of here! Get out! Scoot, skedaddle! Get the fuck outta Dodge!"
- Freddie just doomed Nora and, by extension, everybody in the house. Nora would realistically be the first one to figure out that the murders are real, and (except for Sara's cell phone, which Michael doesn't know about) would be the only one in the house able to warn the rest. Michael is a killer who thrives on stealth, so leaving Freddie instead of killing him is perfectly in character — murdering Freddie right there will likely get him caught, but killing Nora will take away an important lifeline. Sure enough, Nora turns up dead later on, having been killed off-screen.
- The film's poster, as seen on the main page, has Laurie reflected on the bottom of the knife, which is also bloodied at the tip. Guess who is the one of the first people to die in this film.
