  • Cyrill. Very naive, unorganized, and for lack of a better word, clueless when she enters the session. You could say she is kind of the social omega.
  • Anaiad and Ollapa's names are almost 'Diana' and 'Apollo' (who were twins in mythology) backwards, which becomes Fridge Brilliance when you realize that:
    • Anaiad loves exploring her planet, wields crossbowkind and her symbol is the moon. Fitting, since Diana was the other name for Artemis, the goddess of the moon and the hunt. Also, Anaiad is frequently portrayed as being 'ace' when it comes to relationships. Artemis chose to stay a virgin.
      • Word of God says that the fact Artemis is also a forest goddess was why Anaiad and Seleen are Life players.
    • Apollo is the god of the sun, which explains Ollapa's use of a sun symbol. However, Apollo was also the god of prophecy.
    • On a related note, Haeton. His name persumably comes from the mythological figure Phaethon, the son of sun god Helios. Phaethon wanted to try his father's horse chariot, but when the horses noticed it was not Helios who was riding, they freaked out and Phaethon fell to death. Accurate, since Haeton figuratively fell into submission and became one of Beitus' familiars.
  • The flash on this page is called '[S] Blight.'. The word 'Blight' is probably used as in 'wither', 'sowing destruction'. But the first result you can get when you search for 'Blight' might be the other name for mildew. Fridge Brillance when you find out that on the infested plants first emerge white powdery patches, which in a later stage cover the entire plant, not unlike the way Beitus infects others.
  • This panel's excerpt from Romeo and Juliet.
  • Alleph and Lutark are a perfect dichotomy. While the dancestors are generally based on what the players want to be and are as such kind of a opposite to them, these two especially are a dichotomy like Yin and Yang.
    • Alleph is a Big Bad Wannabe with his obsession with the Condesce, him trying to command his friends (which doesn't actually succeeds since very little of them take him seriously until they do in an alternate timeline, and went completely out of control) and serious demeanor. He turns out not to be evil at all and even helps the plot move forward in the right way.
    • Lutark is a The '60s - like hippie, laid-back Friend to All Living Things and somewhat The Ingenue. He traits his friends, Rodard and Haeton as his equals. Sometimes he bothers them, but always in a good spirit. His behavior is usually not so serious, which is frequently commented on and is just as oblivious from the 'accident' the other dancestors also forgot about. He is legitly concerned about losing his friends, to the point of making a metaphor about it. This all turns out to be a lie. His innocent personality is fake and actually does not consider anyone to be his equal. Rodard and Haeton are but familiars to him, and the only ones who he thinks care about him. He is the orchestrator of the 'accident' from a long time ago, to see how far his powers could go. He doesn't care at all about the others, because they used to bother him all the time in a reversion.
  • Why are there no red or orange bloods in the story? Because those two colors indicate Demonic Possession here.
  • Why is Nohmyt's species vegetarian? Because they shapeshift upon tasting blood. It would be highly difficult to finish eating if you became a cow after biting into a tasty steak, to say nothing of digestion. Therefore, that species would have to eat plants if they want to avoid mid-dinner transformations.
  • As noted on the Homestuck Fridge page, quadrants are an important part of troll society because from time to time, drones will come and the trolls must have either red or black stuff - persumably DNA - or otherwise they'll be killed. Lutark calls quadrants 'petty' here, and in a race like the trolls, they certainly wouldn't be. This is a hint at the fact he's not a troll at all.
