Fridge Brilliance:

  • A number of readers were bothered by the fact that Maxima, a stickler for the rules, pointed a gun at Sydney to prove a point. The author later reminded readers about why she's an exception to that rule.
  • For Whom The Death Tolls knows that his powers depend on being attacked. Maybe his incredibly pretentious alias and costume are intentional, to aggravate and provoke his enemies by making them think he's an egotistical idiot begging for a beatdown.
  • While treated as a joke, Sydney is viewed as having the skills/firepower to simulate an asteroid strike: the K-T event believed to have wiped out the dinosaurs, specifically. No wonder the Calamarians sent at least four Kaiju after scanning her orbs. (And she won despite not being able to access the orbs' full skill set, so an "asteroid strike" might be possible in the future.)
  • Lulu is forced to wear her master's letterman jacket, and she grouses that she is literally incapable of disobeying him. At first, it seems like more evidence that he's a petty jerk. However, this is exactly the sort of order a master should be giving to a new succubus: something annoying that she doesn't want to do, but which isn't actually harmful to her or anyone else. It's the perfect way to train her into ignoring orders, showing that said master actually has her wellbeing in mind like he's supposed to.

Fridge Horror:

  • The comic focuses a lot on what might happen if a real-life superhero fought in a crowded area the way they do in the world of comics, such as when a villain dodges an energy blast or someone is thrown into a wall. See Deconstructor Fleet on the main page for more.
