Fridge Brilliance
- You may have been wondering about the significance of the egg motif on the cover of the early printings. Four of them, one for each letter and one is cracked. What's that all about? But then you start to remember Humpty Dumpty and his misfortune... which all clicks when you realise that Gally committed suicide by throwing himself off a bridge. The glue is the metaphorical bond which holds the four lads together. All the king's horses and all the king's men, even with glue, couldn't bring the four lads back together again... although Carl, Terry and Billy make a good go at letting bygones go and repairing their wounded friendship.
