    Fridge Brilliance
  • In the previous chapters, it's shown that the girls can't escape their own loops and that they need Sayama's help to break out of them. In the last chapter, the reason why Sayama can't save any of the girls is because he's trapped in his own loop.
    • More specifically, his regret is being unable to save the girl who dies. As a result, he's doomed to keep failing until he ends the loop, which he accomplishes by killing himself, wherein he dies without regrets.
    • Furthermore, the reason why Chihiro can't save Sayama is because she needs his help to escape her loop. Sayama always commits suicide before he gets the chance to notice her loop. The nature of her loop means that he will never notice it because it will end if he survives, which can't happen because he always kills himself before her loop can occur, which in turn causes her to loop again...
    • This does lead to the possibility that if Chihiro ever talks to Kyousuke, they may be able to find peace and escape the loop, even if someone dies. Or maybe not...
  • When a loop is resolved, the person who caused it loses their memories of it and is unaffected by other loops. In the last chapter, the reason why Sayama doesn't carry over his memories of dying in Chihiro's loops is because he dies without regret, ending his loop which clears his memories of them and keeps him from being affected by them. Alternatively, being dead prevents him from going through Chihiro's loop.

     Fridge Horror
  • The revelation of the final chapter that the entire story is based on a loop created by Chihiro, to prevent Kyousuke from dying. Bad enough, but then Kyousuke loops to prevent Chihiro's death, which results in another death, he loops again, a different death occurs and that repeats until he realizes he can't help anyone and kills himself, to save everyone. Which results in Chihiro looping again to prevent this event. The horror really strikes when the reader realizes that there is no end in sight. The events will still occur, no matter what, so they could be stuck, repeating their three years of high school for ages...!
