Kyousuke Sayama
Kyousuke never regretted anything in his life.
Kyousuke never joined a club in middleschool and, despite Chihiro's suggestion to do so, chose to not enter one in highschool, either. He's prepared to have a perfectly normal, boring highschool experience.
Unfortunately, his classsmates create time-loops over decision they regret. And Kyousuke's the only one other than the creator to notice the loop, meaning he has to help them come to terms with their regret.
- Childhood Friends: With Chihiro.
- Conveniently Seated: Kyousuke gets the protagonist seat, right next to the window.
- Dead All Along: Chapters hint that Kyousuke's actually dead by the time the manga begins, with it being a time-loop itself to give Kyousuke another chance.
- Decoy Protagonist: Certainly seems like he's the main protagonist, but the manga turns out to be caused by Chihiro.
- Driven to Suicide: He commits suicide on the day of graduation, with Chihiro thinking it's because he didn't enjoy his three years of highschool. His reason for committing suicide revolved around his own loop, which was within a loop of Chihiro's. Seeing Chihiro die on the day of graduation, Kyousuke looped to save her, only to realize that one of the other girls would die. In the end, he decided to kill himself because he couldn't let his friends die... resulting in Chihiro's loop to save him.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Turns out his suicide was to keep all the girls alive on graduation day, choosing to die himself, so they won't have to.
- Idiot Hair: One thick strand that curls forward.

Chihiro Yokoze
Kyousuke's childhood friend.
Chihiro seems cheerful and perpetually happy, but strangely protective of Kyousuke at times. As hinted early on, she's the creator of a long, on-going time-loop herself. She saw Kyousuke commit suicide on the day of their highschool graduation and, thinking that he might have regretted not making more of his time as a highschool student, created a loop that goes back to their entrance day.
Chihiro does her best to help Kyousuke have fun during highschool, suggesting he join a club or commitee.
- Armor-Piercing Question: Chapter 5 has her ask Kyousuke if he really had fun during middleschool, with him not having joined any club.
- Childhood Friends: With Kyousuke.
- Childhoodfriend Romance: The extra chapter reveals that she's been in love with Kyousuke for years.
- Declaration of Protection: Repeatedly thinks to herself that she'll do whatever she can to save Kyousuke, and protect him from choosing to commit suicide on the day of graduation.
- Determinator: She plans to loop as often as she has to, until she manages to keep Kyousuke save past graduation.
- Set Right What Once Went Wrong: Chihiro creates the time-loop spanning the characters' three years of highschool, in an attempt to make Kyousuke happy and prevent his suicide on graduation day. Unbeknownst to her, his reason for the suicide is completely different from what she assumed.
Tomoka Shiina
Tomoka's the first to create a time-loop. She used to be part of the field and track club in middleschool, being one of the best runners of the team. All her work resulted in her usually plump legs to become muscular and thick.
People mocked her for her thick legs, and she began to slow down her running, and even losing some of the fun she had with it. She chose to not drop off her club application for the highschool's field and track club, but regretted her decision and caused a loop.
Talking with Kyousuke about her problems, and him helping her focus on her love for running again, allowed the loop to break.
- Girlish Pigtails: Keeps her hair tied into two low-hanging pigtails.
- Indirect Kiss: She takes a sip from Kyousuke's drink at the diner and doesn't care at all about any implications. Unlike him, who's seen blushing furiously.
- Last-Name Basis: Most call her Shiina, followed by an honorific.
- Leg Focus: She was mocked because of her legs. She claims her legs have always been plump when compared to other girls' model-thin ones, and that her running caused them to become 'thick' and muscular.
- Male Gaze: Her large breasts get some focus at times.
- Romantic Spoonfeeding: She, rather forcefully, insists on having Kyousuke try her parfait.
Miyabe Hagiyama
She creates the second time-loop and acts confused, compared to Shiina's growing agitation. Miyabe's regret came in the form of choosing to not go eating a crèpe with a friend after school. Since stopping somewhere on her way home was forbidden by the school rules.
Kyousuke chooses to humor her, and comes up with a way for her to have a crèpe after school, without breaking any rules. He suggests she go home first, change out of her uniform, and then go eat one.
- Everyone Calls Him "Barkeep": She's usually referred to as Class Rep.
- Idiot Hair: Two 'antennae' jump up from her head.
Hiyori Izumi
Hiyori's the creator of the third time-loop. The day her time-loop started was the day her boyfriend, a third-year senpai of hers, broke up with her. She initially saw it as a chance to maybe rescue the relationship, but was repeatedly rejected by him.
Hiyori admits that she and her boyfriend were completely different people, with him not only being older, but also more mature and having a clear goal in live, along with having interests that are at complete odds to her fun-loving personality.
Talking with Kyousuke, she realizes that she wanted to be able to be herself around her boyfriend, and not try to fake her personality to be more in-tune with his tastes.
- Book Dumb: When Hiyori shows some testscores of hers that are slightly above average, Miyabe is actually amazed that she managed it!
- Cute Little Fangs: Usually drawn with a small one on her left side.
- First-Name Basis: When she's on a 'fun date' with Kyousuke, she insists that he call her Hiyori and not Izumi, since she's calling him by his first name, too.
- Genki Girl: She's pretty upbeat, chit-chatty and loud. And admits to that perhaps being why the relationship with her Senpai didn't work out.
- Girlish Pigtails: Unlike Shiina, wears her pigtails high.
Mako Ootsuka
Mako creates the fourth time-loop, though Kyousuke treats it like the first one. She was always a loner and wanted to have friends to talk about things to, but she had difficulty doing her. Her personal interest is scifi, which most people around her never cared about.
She intended to join the SF Research Club, but got scared off by Kyousuke and ran off, seeing him as someone interested in scifi, too. Frustrated that her first meeting with him went so badly, she started a loop to work on making friends with him.
- I Just Want to Have Friends: She wants to be friends with Kyousuke because she, mistakenly, thought he was a member of the SF Research Club and interested in scifi, too.
- Motor Mouth: Tends to fill speech bubbles when she gets excited over topics she's interested in, like scifi.
