Depending on how one looks at the episodes, there can be a rare nod to continuity to be found in "Attack of the 50ft Veronica". Archie visiting Dilton in his lab and then offering to buy him soda/food is a call-back to "Something is Haunting Riverdale High". Guess Archie took his lesson to heart and is attempting to spend more time with other people! It's even more brilliant that it's Dilton, who specifically mentioned feeling ignored. Midge and Big Ethel just expressed being upset that no one sees their other sides but Dilton outright states his classmates will ignore him for days unless they need him for something. So Archie just showing up for no real reason and extending an invitation to spend time together solves this nicely.
In "Reggie or Not", Reggie seems to egotistically tell the aliens that he's the kindest, least selfish, most helpful person around, when they ask him to rate his personality for their robotic double of him. But there's no way he could honestly believe all that; past episodes have even shown he knows full well he isn't a nice guy (he just thinks he can be loved without being nice). It's entirely possible he deliberately misled the aliens, knowing Archie would follow his usualProperly Paranoidinstincts and find out the truth! Given more support based on how Reggie smirks when the alien second-in-command says how cooperative he was in making the double and how Reggie is able to trick the aliens at the end, manipulating his robot double to win the niceness contest and then impersonating said robot until they're safely back on Earth, showing he's smarter than he looks.
Why does nobody seem to care about Archie's "weird mysteries" column? Because the stories he tells either seem made-up (usually because no one outside the gang witnessed/remembered it happening), or were town-wide disasters that the actual newspaper would have already reported about! This also explains why Reggie's stories written in "Compu-Terror" seem so amazing, despite being on par with Archie's usual stuff (if more ridiculous); since the events happened literally as he wrote them, he became the first to report about stories that had enough witnesses to be deemed true.
Archie is far more willing to call Veronica out on her selfishness in this series than he is in the comics. Having the weird mysteries column makes him a frequent prime target for Veronica's verbal abuse just as much as it does for Reggie's, so he'd lose his patience with her a lot quicker now that she's doing more than just having high expectations.
If the main villain in "Mega-Mall of Horrors" has been trying to settle his dues long before Jughead and gang stopped him, who knows how many teenagers he managed to trap before he was stopped...
In "Something is Haunting Riverdale High", Dilton gets hit by the intangibility machine and is unable to be seen, heard or touched by anyone. This goes on for an entire day until Archie gets affected by the machine too. Just how does a teenager in a small town go missing for an entire day and have no one notice? Even assuming his parents just thought he got in late and went to school early, you'd think at least one teacher would wonder where one of the best students in the school is.
