The various incarnations of Igor Grom. note

Major Grom is one of BUBBLE Comics' oldest franchises, and the most prolific by far. It was the first BUBBLE property to be adapted to a live action formatnote , spawning one short film and a series of feature-length films (the latter of which is intended to form the cornerstone of the planned BUBBLE Cinematic Universe).

The franchise follows the adventures of the eponymous Igor Grom and his associates. Grom is an uncompromising second generation Saint Petersburg police detective, known for his unorthodox methods, superb analytical skills, and athletic prowess.

The main comic book titles:

  • Major Grom (2012—2016): The series that started it all.
  • Igor Grom (2017—2021): Sequel to Major Grom. Having been forced out of police work after the events of The Last Case, Grom nevertheless finds himself drawn to solve the mysteries of Saint Petersburg.
  • Major Igor Grom (2021—present): Igor Grom returns to police work, and must adapt to the changing face of the job — and the city itself.

Comic book titles linked to Major Grom:

  • Time Of The Raven (2015—2016): A BUBBLE Universe global crossover. Sergey Razumovsky becomes the vessel of the raven god Kutkh, and Igor Grom must join forces with Andrei Radov, Nika Chaikina, and Danila to stop him. Major Grom contributed three issues to the event.
  • Dima Dubin: Provincial Vacation (2018): Trade paperback focusing on the life of Dima Dubin, Grom's associate (and former partner).
