Pre-Flashpoint

  • More Fun Comics (1941): Green Arrow's original home for many years.
  • Green Lantern/Green Arrow (1970): he costarred with Hal Jordan in a well-known series of topical stories, and then a more standard series of superhero adventures after the book was cancelled and re-started.
  • Green Arrow Vol 1 (1983): A four-issue limited series, features a murder mystery written in the style of Agatha Christie.
  • Green Arrow The Longbow Hunters (1987): A three-issue limited series. This mini-series is known for modernizing and maturing the character. This limited series leads into the first Green Arrow ongoing comic series.
  • Green Arrow Vol 2 (1988-1998): The titular character's first ongoing as well as its longest-running series at 139 issues and 7 annuals (numbers from #1-137 but includes a Zero Hour: Crisis in Time! and a DC One Million tie-in). Written by Mike Grell for the first 80 issues, the subsequent arc "Cross Roads" written by Kevin Dooley (running from issue 80-90) re-establishes his connections to the wider DCU as well as acting as a set-up for his involvement in Zero Hour. From Issue 90 onwards begins Chuck Dixon's run which introduces Oliver Queen's son, Connor Hawke, as his successor to the mantle after Oliver Queen dies in issue #101.
  • Green Arrow Vol 3 (2001-2007): The titular character's second ongoing series. Revives Oliver Queen back to life after his death in the previous ongoing and re-claims the mantle alongside his son, reconciling with Roy and Dinah as well as adopting the teenager Mia Dearden who becomes the next Speedy. Initially written by Kevin Smith for the "Quiver" and "Sounds of Violence" arcs, the run is penned by Judd Winick for the majority of its run. Ran for 75 issues and a Secret Files and Origins one-shot. The series ended at #75, leading into Green Arrow And Black Canary.
  • Green Arrow And Black Canary (2007—2010): The titular character's third ongoing series that continues directly from the previous run. After Oliver Queen proposes to Dinah Lance, the duo start to fight side-by-side as husband and wife alongside their family. Ran for 32 issues and one special (Green Arrow and Black Canary Wedding Special), tied-in to Blackest Night and Justice League: Cry for Justice. Written by Judd Winick for the first 14 issues, then by Andrew Kreisberg from 15-29, with J.T. Krul starting on #30 and would be the main writer on the series for the next 2 years.

  • Green Arrow Vol 4 (2010-2011): Green Arrow's newest ongoing spinning off of Blackest Night as part of Brightest Day. Written by J.T. Krul for 15 issues for being rebooted.
  • Flashpoint: Green Arrow Industries (2011): Tie-in to Flashpoint (DC Comics)
