Babylon 5 is a multimedia franchise created by J. Michael Straczynski.
The original series follows the adventures of the crew of the titular space station, as they try to keep the peace between multiple races. Meanwhile, ancient races wage war against each other, including the Shadows, which threaten the galaxy. Meanwhile, tensions rise in multiple races that lead to multiple civil wars.
Along with the original series there were multiple TV movies, a spinoff, Crusade, a planned reboot, and an animated followup.
