The Angriest Man In Brooklyn is a 2014 Dramedy film directed by Phil Alden Robinson and written by Daniel Taplitz. The film is a Remake of the 1997 film The 92 Minutes of Mr. Baum. The film follows an angry, bitter man (played by Robin Williams in his final role before his death) who is diagnosed with a brain aneurysm and is told he has 90 minutes to live. As he rushes off to make amends, a doctor (played by Mila Kunis) has to find him and take him back to the hospital.

The film also stars Peter Dinklage, James Earl Jones, and Melissa Leo. This was the last film to feature Robin Williams before his death in August 11, 2014.

Tropes in the film:

  • Berserk Button: As the title implies, Henry is described as an angry man. This is best demonstrated at the beginning of the film where he loses his cool at a taxi driver.
  • Driven to Suicide: At the Climax of the film Henry attempts to kill himself being unable to cope with the aneurysm.
  • Product Placement: Sharon is wearing Nike Air Moto 9 sneakers for the entire film.
  • Speech Impediment: A shopkeep at a video equipment store that Henry visits. played by James Earl Jones, has a severe stutter. This being a more comical scene, it's entirely Played for Laughs.
