Tropes for the film:

  • Alliterative Name: Marc Mallard.
  • Bilingual Backfire: The movie has this in the embarrassing direction, as Georgina stands complaining about her life in English while standing in line with a group of Greeks, including her bus driver:
Georgia: ... and I haven't had sex in forever...
Bus Driver: Forever is a very long time.
    • She then asks in general how many there understood English, only to have half the crowd raise their hands.
  • Bus Full of Innocents: This trope nearly happens, but the bus is not yet hanging from the cliff, the driver manages to stop it just in time.
  • Gorgeous Greek: Georgia, after lightening up for her job and to her tour group, falls in love with the bus driver Poupi; at one point, the bus almost crashes since they can't resist each other.
  • Sex for Services: The man at the counter at the hotel offers Georgia this option in exchange for postage, but she's mortified.
  • Tagline: "The star of 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' is Finally going to Greece".
