Miss March is a 2009 comedy film starring, directed, and written by Trevor Moore and Zach Cregger of The Whitest Kids U' Know.
Eugene (Cregger) wakes up from a four-year coma to find that his girlfriend Cindi (Raquel Alessi) is now a Playboy model. Unable to contact her, Eugene and his friend Tucker (Moore) go on a road trip to the Playboy Mansion.
Tucker happens to be a colossal moron who causes Eugene a ton of colossal headaches.
This film provides examples of:
- As Himself: Hugh Hefner and Sara Jean Underwood cameo to promote their celebrity status of course.
- Ax-Crazy: Tucker's girlfriend is just as insane (though not without a fairly good reason), following him across the country to get revenge.
- The firemen in this movie are literal examples. They hurl axes which stick to Tucker's car throughout the adventure.
- Barbie Doll Anatomy: Horsedick.mpeg was born without genitalia and has to urinate through plastic tubes. The movie doesn't shy away from showing you.
- Big Brother Instinct: Candace's fireman brother and his comrades stalk Tucker cross country intending to kill him for stabbing her in the head with a fork.
- Black Comedy: One of the film's most remembered scenes is when Tucker attempts to sleep with a hot model onboard the luxury room of a party bus, but as she undresses seductively she goes flying out the window thanks to a rough road.
- Tucker accidentally killing Ms. Underwood's dog while running away.
- Broken Pedestal: Almost happens to Tucker when he finds out that his hero, Hugh Hefner's high school sweetheart was cross-eyed and not attractive at all.
- Compensating for Something: For all his flash and his name, it turns out that horsedick.MPEG has no penis.
- Distracted by the Sexy: Happens to Tucker at least once every five seconds. In fact, his brain literally shuts off if he thinks he's about to have sex.
- Fan Disservice:
- Eugene's tendency to crap himself when overstressed easily soil his image.
- One of the Playgirl's accidentally drinking dog pee.
- The Gross-Up Close-Up on Horsedick.mpeg's crotch to reveal how he has no genitalia is as horrific as you'd think.
- Fanservice: In a film about Playboy? Naturally.
- The titular Miss March is Eugene's true love, as well as one of the most beautiful models of the mansion thanks to her issues. Which the audiences gets to see in full detail.
- Horsedick's background dancers of scantily clad women. Two of whom are topless.
- Crystal, one of the party girl's on Horsedick.mpeg 's tour bus, who not only shows off her bare breasts to Tucker, but wears a transparent push-up bra to perk them up.
- The horny lesbians who cannot stop making out and even get nude while the guys drive them.
- The Playboy mansion features quite a few sexy playmates, special mention of the skinny dippers at the Grotto.
- Girl Next Door Turned Superstar: The film is about a guy who wakes up from a four-year coma, finds that his girlfriend is now a Playboy model, and goes on a road trip to the Playboy Mansion with his best friend to reunite with her.
- Improbably Quick Coma Recovery: Averted. This film is one of the relatively small number of films to portray the physical effects of a years-long coma on the human body with any degree of accuracy. Eugene spends most of the film barely able to walk under his own power, and repeatedly craps himself because of how severely his muscles have atrophied.
- Insistent Terminology: A man who insists everyone address him as "horsedick.MPEG".
- The Millstone: Tucker is the cause of pretty much all of Eugene's misfortune. He also caused the coma, as he gave Eugene two shots of alcohol beforehand, leading to his fall.
- Never My Fault: At one point, Tucker calls his girlfriend in an attempt to make up. What follows is him basically saying that he forgives her for her going crazy, and not remembering that he tunes out when sex is initiated.
- Potty Emergency: Sara's dog, Puddles, goes through this and Tucker offers to take him to the bathroom, but gets distracted. He doesn't make it (see below).
- Potty Failure: Eugene keeps crapping himself because his coma has caused a lot of his muscles to atrophy, including the ones that let him hold it in.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Tucker's girlfriend hunts him down alongside her firefighter brother for payback over giving her a seizure and stabbing her in the face.
- A post-credits scene teases that Crystal is now seeking revenge on Tucker as well for her accident.
- Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist: Tucker. The film doesn't hesitate to make him look like a selfish fool who brings all the misfortune upon himself and suffering bad luck all movie.
- Urine Trouble: Puddles pees into a model's drink.
- With Friends Like These...: Tucker to Eugene. It's a huge wonder how and Why they became and remain friends, even as Tucker makes Eugene's life a living hell.
