Left to right: Claire and Eve.
Claire, a young businesswoman who has a troubled background, begins a relationship with Eve. Then she learns Eve is her boss's wife, and before long he has been murdered, with the police viewing Claire as a suspect. Claire struggles to save herself as it becomes clear that Eve has caught her in a trap.

Tropes:

  • Blackmail: Parker was blackmailed by Eve into helping cover up her murder of Scott.
  • Black Widow: Eve has her husband Scott murdered for his money. Then she also tries to murder her girlfriend Claire too so she'll take the fall after being framed for it.
  • Cycle of Revenge: Lane turns out to be the son of the slumlord who Claire nearly killed in revenge for letting her family die in a fire. He works with Eve to get revenge on Claire in return. Claire ends up killing him in self-defense.
  • Depraved Bisexual: Eve murdered her husband Scott's first wife so she could marry him. Then she also had him murdered for his money. After this she frames Claire, her girlfriend, and then tries to run away with her after having a change of heart. Claire naturally does not go for it.
  • Dress Hits Floor: Claire first sees Eve when she disrobes like this to swim in the pool where they are.
  • Fake Alibi: Eve fakes an alibi very well for murdering her husband Scott, which leaves the police suspecting Claire of his murder instead, just as she wanted. The police realize they could be in the act together however, so this simply convinces them that Eve didn't personally murder him.
  • Frame-Up: Eve frames Claire for murdering Scott, and then tries to murder her so she can't prove she's innocent.
  • Killer Cop: Parker murders his own partner when the latter comes to suspect (rightly) that he'd been involved with the murder of Eve's husband Scott, covering it up.
  • Lipstick Lesbian: Claire and Eve (or at least a lipstick bisexual, in Eve's case, as she's married to a man). Both have long hair and wear elegant feminine clothing which highlights their looks (though that's not hard to begin with).
  • Love Confession: Eve declares she loves Claire toward the end when attempting to persuade her they can run away together. Claire says it back but she rejects the idea.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Claire and Eve. Both are beautiful women who wear low-cut tops along with other pretty revealing clothing all throughout the film. Claire spends a lot of the film in a red top which shows her cleavage and her bare stomach at the same time.
  • Modesty Bedsheet: Claire and Eve both stay under the covers while they have sex in one scene.
  • Murder the Hypotenuse: Eve killed Scott's first wife so she could marry him.
  • Parental Abandonment: Claire lost both of her parents and her sister in a fire while she was a teenager.
  • Pay Evil unto Evil: Claire, as a teenager, tried to murder the slum lord whose negligence caused her family to die in a fire by burning down his house with him inside. She spent time in juvie for it.
  • Secret Relationship: Claire starts an affair with Eve, the wife of her boss, which they naturally keep a secret so he doesn't learn about it (though she isn't aware Eve's married to him at first).
  • Sexy Discretion Shot: In their first intimate scene Claire and Eve are kissing, undressing while they go toward the bed, then the scene cuts to them having a drink. They then start making out, with the scene cutting again.
