Ernest Goes to Africa is the eighth Ernest P. Worrell film.
Ernest has a crush on Renee (Linda Kash), who is not interested in Ernest, preferring an adventurous boyfriend. When Renee gets kidnapped and taken to Africa, Ernest goes to Africa to rescue her and prove himself worthy.
