The eighth installment of Children of the Corn series, released in 2011.
A young couple get stuck near a small town, and take shelter in the home of a strange old man. They then unwittingly become part of Gatlin's legacy.
This film has the examples of:
- Creepy Child: Everything seems normal in the opening with a soldier returning home, but it later turns out that the seemingly innocent children have been killing adults around the place.
- Destination Defenestration: A corn doll is thrown at Cole, which is somehow sends through a window in the end of the opening.
- Downer Ending: Tim dies in a supernaturally caused car crash and Allie ends up stuck with the cult.
- Eye Scream: Cole in the opening finds his father's corpse with corn cobs stuck to his eyes.
