Tropes for the film:

  • Exposed Embarrassing Purchase: Paul goes to a pharmacy after realizing he might have crabs. He asks an employee about medicine, and they shout across the store to another worker about which aisle it's in. Of course, they don't hear him, so he has to shout "Crab Medicine!" much to Paul's embarrassment.
  • I'm a Man; I Can't Help It: After his bachelor party, Paul wakes up with an attractive dancer in his bed. He's horrified, sine he's normally a quiet and devoted guy, who would never cheat on his fiancee Karen (as it turns out, he never actually cheated, having passed out before the clothes came off, but he had intended to cheat while drunk), Throughout the movie, he finds unexpected support from his best friend, complete strangers, and even his future-in-law (and boss). As far as they're all concerned, men are hunters, frequently waving it off as "it's a guy thing. He ends up calling off the wedding when he realizes both that he doesn't want to be one of these guys and that he doesn't want to always pick the safer option (Karen). He ends up chasing down Karen's wild cousin Becky.
  • Stag Party: The movie starts with a bachelor party for Paul. Things get a little too wild for him, so he gives his "groom" hat to the best man and ends up chatting up an attractive dancer. The next morning, he wakes up and is shocked to find her in his bed. His fiancee Karen is on her way, so he kicks the girl out without even learning her name. Then he learns that the girl is Karen's cousin.
