After a few samples, you will be able to judge whether you might be interested in the 'fic, based on who recommended it. No-name recommendations will be zapped. Nobody would back up the rec. Discussion of the recommendation is welcome on the discussion page. As such discussion is important, do remember to add the discussion page to the watchlist, if need be.

• Here's a DeviantArt recollection of various fan-made Winx Club comics if someone wants to check out. Most authors have added upon the series' worldbuilding a great deal, showing care-of-details and love for the original source. Some deepen on the disgracefully wasted villains while others favor enriching the characters' backstories and relationships.

• To say that she is one of the best writers of Winx fanfiction out there would not be an understatement. All of her stories are high quality, well-researched, and of course, entertaining.

Darev's Fanfics

• Recommended by koolkame
• The best endorsement for Darev is this: if you absolutely hate Winx, you will still love his stories. Darev writes a more mature take on the material, exploring the characters and the world of Magix in ways the show can't. He does various genres with ease, from horror to comedy and sometimes within the same story.

Originalix Clubs

Read as new or alternative versions of the original Winx Club, usually with OCs as the new members and, often, their own fanmade transformations.

【Sombras inmarcesibles】, by Lila Gaela.

• Status: Discontinued. It has since been deleted by the original creator, but an archived version can be found here.
• Synopsis: Losing her wings is a major trauma for any fairy, or it should be, and since the series neglected this when Icy broke Galatea's wings, the author of this fic decided to exploit the plot hole and create an entire fanfiction about it. Starring an angsty Galatea with PTSD as the main character, an angry Musa who went nuts when Bloom refused to kill Valtor with the Water Stars, a distressed Bloom struggling with her dark side, and a badass Darcy who is more of a Chessmistress than ever; it's a bomb. This fic was/is originally written in Spanish with a rough English translation called 【Amaranthine Shadows】, which is great since I highly recommend it. It's set in the third season of the series.

• Synopsis: In the canon, Bloom and Anne (Aisha's childhood friend) are eerily similar in appearance, so the author decided to merge them. Now, kid Bloom loves dancing and the positive emotions awaken her magic, transporting her to Andros. There she meets Princess Layla Aisha and the two become friends.

Dragon's Daugthers, by Bloom_Farella

• Synopsis: What if both Daphne and Bloom have managed to escape from Domino's destruction and get safely to the Earth? Two Dragon's Flame bearers: the cutie/dorky Bloom and the angry/wise Daphne; one vengeance; lots of changes. This fanfiction adds some realism to the series and expands a lot in both the characters (the Winx Club is expanded and was a great deal to form) and the worldbuilding (it draws a lot from Nordic and Celtic mythologies). Originally written in Spanish with no current English translation.

• Synopsis: A story set after the Third Season. What was supposed to be a happy family day with all the royal families connected to the Winx Club, ends in disaster when the Queens get kidnapped. and it gets even worse...
• Comments: This gives quite some depth to the Royals, which (if done properly, which until now has been) is a good thing.

• Synopsis: A young witch living on Earth with her grandmother-also a witch-enrolls as a freshman at Cloud Tower. But not all is as it seems because the secret she's keeping could change not only Magix but the entire Magical Universe.

• Comments: A spooky anthology of terror with a final chapter that will surprise and amuse you!

• Synopsis: The Dragon's Flame bearer had lost and now she's nowhere to be seen nor found. The Trix sisters and their Army of Decay hover dim over all over Magix. Its cities, its schools, and its population. The Winx Club has been torn apart and are the odds upon what hope relies.
• Comments: What if the Trix have won the final battle at Alfea and successfully conquered the planet? This fic plays with that idea while fancying a Darker and Edgier take on the series. For once, it's not a "fairies are going to save the day" but rather a "badass witches in charge who actually know what are they doing and are going to save the day". It's written in Spanish with no current translation to English.

• Comments: This shipping could appear bizarre but the author has managed to make all the canon's details (about Bloom and Icy's rivalry) fit neatly into some romance stuff. It's compelling and I absolutely love the pace.

• Synopsis: Princess Stella invites Brandon to Solaria for one incredible night full of festivities, but things don't go as planned and this night is quickly turning into a nightmare.
• Comments: One of the best stories I've ever read. Written in great detail of the places, surroundings, people, etc, as well as fleshing out the Solarian nobility and history, as well as one of the best accurate portrayal of Stella and Brandon I've ever seen.

• Paring: Musa/Riven
• Synopsis: When his father dies, Riven is forced to meet his mother (who abandoned both him and his father when Riven was a toddler) and live with her the rest of that last summer before he graduates from Red Fountain. He keeps alienating his friends and girlfriend, Musa, by hiding from them his situation as he struggles to deal with it.
• Comments: This fic obviously focuses on Riven and adds several layers of complexity to both him and his relationship with Musa. It also gives us some insight into Magix's sexist culture. It's written in Spanish with no current translation to English.

Supervivientes de la Corrupción, by BlakesGoal

• Paring: Flora/Helia
• Synopsis: War has fallen upon the pacific planet Linphea and its inhabitants (including Flora and her family) get trapped within a harsh siege. Then, one light of hope appears: the werewolves and their resistance. Flora's turbulent past suddenly pops out and she must face corrupted political machinations courtesy of princess Krystal of Linphea. Afterwar the war, the political tension has reached a point of no return, and as Flora refuses to talk about the trauma, her friends take well-meant, catastrophic decisions. Her relationship with Helia also suffers considerably.
• Comments: This fic is actually the second one of its trilogy, although since it's a Surprisingly Improved Sequel, I rather recommend it instead of the first book. It's written in Spanish with no current translation to English.

• Synopsis: Magic can do some incredible things, but even it has limits. They lost their chance a long time ago. But maybe they deserve another one…
• Comments: Complete Artistic License success to me really. Not only the Magix council grants our Dark Wizard a chance to live again amongst the mundane on Earth, he and Bloom actually had history and now the whole New Old Flame begins again. Since the story takes place in a publishing industry or the sort, we get to see some splendid, beautiful parallels of Bloom and Baltor in the fictional piece made by the devices of the latter's dreams or maybe inner wishes. It scares the crap out of Bloom obviously, before she gets the hang of it as she knows Baltor's really a Dead Man Walking. We get a Story Within A Story, and a wonderfully crafted one at that.

• Synopsis: Crown Princess Stella of Solaria is ready to return to Alfea Academy for Fairies after her disastrous first year (though the explosion in the potions lab was so not intentional). But a fated encounter on a magicless planet changes everything, tying her destiny to that of a girl with mysterious powers, unknown origins, and a fire inside as bright as the Fairy of the Shining Sun herself. Together, they burn. And the universe with them.
• Comments: This one is a retelling of the first season under Stella's eyes and it diverges from canon bit by bit due to Stella and Bloom's relationship.

• Next-generation fic combining Winx Club and World of Warcraft.
• Synopsis: The most renowned figure of the enchanted dimension of Magix, after an attempt on her life, has made important alliances with other dimensions. The new allies all have their own threats to face, fortunately, they also have their own guardians who will gradually integrate into the daily life of the people of Magix, strengthening the bonds of friendship. As time foresaw, the guardians of yesteryear, split to pursue their own lives, their goals, and dreams... and nowadays some of them are believed to be dead. The clock has begun its race against time, an invasive and dangerous plan could return two important pieces to the game, or destroy those who try to save them, thus losing these figures necessary to stop the advance of the ancient evil that has been lurking since the beginning of time.

Winx Club Infinite Loops, by Firehawk and a bunch of others.

• Status: Dormant
• Huge crossover that mixes universes as diverse as Winx Club, Ranma 1/2, Harry Potter, Naruto, Bleach, Evangelion, Sailor Moon, and Slayers (to name the main ones).
• Synopsis: The World Tree Yggdrasil is broken. Time is looping back on itself infinitely. But some people are aware of this.
• Comments: The Infinite Loops multiverse is the biggest crossover ever, the mother of the crossovers indeed. It is a collaborative creation drafted by several SpaceBattles.com forum users. Firehawk is the one in charge of the Winx Club branch and it has rendered some jewels such as leveling the Enchantix up to a goddess-like point. For once, it's not Bloom-centered and it has a myriad of worldbuilding details and character development shots I'm enamored with. This multiverse even has got its own Wiki Fandom page.

Aimhrialtacht, by Bloom_Farella

• Post-Canon story combining Winx Club and Puella Magi Madoka Magica
• Synopsis: Aimhrialtacht is the Irish word for "anomaly". A magi who countlessly repeats the same month is definitely an irregularity, but a pair of "magis" with wings is an anomaly. Or it'd be if they weren't two (young) fairies, Daphne and Roxy, trying to fix the abhorrent ordeal Kyubey has set on Earth and its girls.
• Comments: As a huge fan of both franchises, PMMM and Winx, I'm wordless before how well-thought this fic is. I mean, Daphne has got no time to mature nor to heal after being resurrected by Bloom (the series didn't deepen much in her trauma), so she looks and acts like a 16-old teenager, which makes her perfect material for a Puella Magi. Also, as the crown princess of the newly magical planet Earth, Roxy has to solve the magical girls/witches issue. Both befriending the Holy Quintet. This fic is written in Spanish with no current translation to English.

• Synopsis: Taren the son of Sora and Kairi is thrusted into an adventure where he will be called to save his world and the magix dimension from a mysterious new evil on the move. In his journey he will meet new friends, enemies and love whilst learning what it means to be a wielder of the Keyblade.
• Set in Post-Kingdom Hearts Story and season 1 of Winx Club
• Comments: Story is interesting with fun adventures and action is good, some bit of spelling and slight grammar but appears to improve over time to correct mistakes. Balanced combination of two fictional universes and character development with the OC as the main character and interaction between characters. Also interesting lore which have not been focused and blend between different worlds.

Impostora parasitaria, by MitraAmaterasu

• Alternate Universe story combining Winx Club and Among Us.
• Synopsis: Tecna was unable to feel emotions, either those evoked by memories or provoked by new situations. Thus, she had become a soldier who spent her days in the midst of white-noise interrogations and missions methodically executed. The ship she inhabited, SKELD, was the last bastion of humanity after the parasite catastrophe. It was then that her routine was disrupted.
• Comments: I like how the author carried Tecna's robot complex to its extreme and make the girl literally incapable of feeling. Also, both the parasite stuff and the post-apocalypse setting render the story intriguing. This fic is written in Spanish with no current translation to English.

• Divergence story combining Winx Club and Ranma 1/2.
• Pairings: Ranma/Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, Layla
• Synopsis: Valtor survived Bloom's attack in the last ep of season 3 and tries to kill the Winx, but the Specialists saved them through an act of self-sacrifice. Their bodies destroyed, their souls were salvaged and Faragonda gets them reincarnated into one Ranma Saotome. Chaos comes to Magix, and magic comes to Nerima.
• Comments: A very interesting read and an original crossover about reincarnation and balanced harem fic.

The Winx Club Play Dugeons and Dragons by Annalise

• Status: Hiatus
• Synopsis: The Winx get tired of fighting the Monster of the Week over and over and over. So Musa suggests they spend the next weekend playing Dungeons & Dragons to relax and chill off.
• Comments: The characterization of the girls is very on-point. Faithful to their personalities back in the first seasons.
