A lot of the series' original songs are magical.

  • We Are Believix, sung by Daphne's Nick voice actress Elizabeth Gillies, is super catchy. Nickelodeon made a great music video to go along with it, too. If only Nick had Diaspro's voice actress sing a song for the show...
  • For the one-hour specials and Nickelodeon’s dub of Seasons 3 and 4, Nick star Cymphonique Miller sang the fun and upbeat Winx, You're Magic Now, a version of the season 4 theme. (Although, in 2011, it was played so much in between commercials that it lost a good bit of its spark.)
  • Daphne's theme music from the first season is calming and beautiful.
  • Just about every transformation theme is awesome, making even the more lackluster transformations worth it:
    • The first transformation theme, Siamo noi le Winx, is kickass and gets the blood pumping. The stage show version is even better, turning it into a true power anthem for the group. Unfortunately, unlike later transformations, the full song never had a English version.
    • The exciting Sirenix theme is of a slightly surprising genre.
    • The Tynix theme sounds otherworldly and mystical.
    • The Believix theme really captures the importance of believing in something. The power-up wings theme is almost as great, especially its guitar solo.
    • The Enchantix theme. Considering the requirements for it, is it any wonder why some fans think Season 3 was the peak of the show? (That and it was intended to be the final season of the show, anyway.)
    • Both variations of the fairy dust music are memorable and help emphasize the many awesome moments that the fairy dust sequences accompany.
    • The Enchantix version from The Movie is really good and manages to have a more energetic feeling.
    • The transformation song from the Nick recap specials might not be as kickass as the original transformation theme, but it sure is a lot of fun.
    • The Cosmix theme is an absolute bop that gets the blood pumping and also fits the space theme of the season perfectly. Also amazing is the instrumental, which manages to include references to "Siamo noi le Winx".
  • From the one-hour specials, The Power of Fire may be short, but it sure is badass.
  • Some of the songs' instrumentals are just as amazing as the regular versions. Listening to the season 5 ending song with headphones makes you feel like you're underwater.
  • The original opening theme showcases the Winx being True Companions and is just generally a fun song.
  • The opening of season 4 is really fun and energetic. The redone version for the soundtrack is even more so.
  • Superheroes, the ending theme for season 4, manages to capture the optimistic focus of the main heroines.
  • Way of Sirenix is a pop earworm that sounds refreshingly different from most of the show's music.
  • Forever manages to capture the romance of the Official Couple beautifully.
  • Mambochiwambo from Winx in Concert manages to capture the feeling of a tropical retreat quite well.
  • In the stage show the Trix get Non C'è Amore ("There's No Love"). They say the Villain Song is usually particularly good and shows how important a villain is, and this song proves it. Bonus point for reminding that there's not just mindless evil to the Trix.
  • You’re the One from "Secret of the Lost Kingdom" is energetic, catchy and pure pop rock fun.
  • The 4Kids Entertainment dub had a lot of good music as well:
    • The 4Kids theme is upbeat, a lot of fun, and really damn catchy.
    • Feels Like Magic is short but sweet, capturing the feeling of magic in the series. It ended up being the used the most of the vocal songs in the dub.
    • Mean Girls Rule is really catchy, has a fun pop energy, and fits the characters The Trix perfectly.
    • Just Us Girls is a nice ballad that focuses on the Winx being True Companions.
  • This Big World is a beautiful song that manages to utterly break your heart.
  • Chain Reaction manages to be a really fun techno piece that shows off how Tecna sees the world around her, ironically showing more of her character and personality than later seasons.
  • Live My Life explains Aisha and her desire for freedom to her father. It uses a tribal old school R&B meets Pop sound reminiscent of the 90s and 2000s, complete with angelic backing vocals which fit her character and the story she had through the series, being a rebellious princess who seeks deep friendships and freedom to live her life.
