GuiltyKingOumaShu's fics. He is a great writer in which his stories are faithful to the source material (technically, it actually is faithful to the original, authentic Japanese version source material). Looking back that while Reclaiming the Throne is an AU sequel with canon inconsistencies, it is still a great story to read in relation to monarchy and suspenseful dramatic events in this epic tale.

Aimee-chi's fics. She has done stories that are shipping based.

Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance.

Akane no Guilty Crown by Kanius

  • Recommended by Ford1114
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: Shu's mundane life is changed when he rescues a pink-haired songstress and obtains the King's Power. That is not all. His fate is further altered when two siblings join his class and inherit the power of Voids through their bond with him. One of the siblings meets an Endlave pilot as a new path is being carved for them. Their interwoven paths shall lead to one goal: GHQ's downfall.
  • Comments: While a limited OVA story, this reboot in celebrating the anime's 10 year anniversary reconstructs the story with original concepts and other changes. It is meant to serve as a renaissance of the Guilty Crown fandom after years of dormancy.

Shackles of Guilt by Vuken

  • Recommended by Ford1114
  • Status: Dead; last updated April 2014
  • Synopsis: Also called "Operation Steel Balls" among my peers, this is a complete reconstruction of Guilty Crown, where I attempt to give more logic and coherence to the story and to redeem our little Shu by making him epic while keeping the "Guilty Crown" theme.
  • Comments: This story is interesting to see Shu being active and joining Funeral Parlor straight away, not to mention knowing his 'childhood friend' early on. Plus, there is emphasis on exploring the history of the Undertakers themselves.
  • Here's a trope page created.

Guilty Melody by Mae Bleu

  • Recommended by Ford1114
  • Status: Dormant; last updated March 2019
  • Synopsis: AU What if things had gone a little bit differently at that one critical moment? "It's okay." He said sternly, tightening his grip. He could feel the crystals spreading. He ignored them. "I'm right here with you, Sis."
  • Comments: This is a great story and has the most amount of favorites and reviews. It shows Shu himself being the Adam of Da'ath's utopia alongside the altered setting that concur.

The tale of Adam by Kira31

  • Recommended by Ford 1114
  • Status: Dormant
  • Synopsis: What if Mana wasn't the one chosen to bring about the apocalypse? What if the first infected was instead her unborn brother Shu? How would things turn out? In a world where instead of Eve, there was Adam, this is his story.
  • Comments: It is an alternate take of Shu being the patient zero of the Apocalypse Virus instead, and that Mana is the main character taking the lead.

For the Meteorite that Changed Shu by Saint River

  • Recommended by Ford 1114
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: Ouma Mana found the meteorite which crashed on Oshima Island and contained the Apocalypse Virus. And from that, the Void Genome was created which was said to bestow upon its user the Power of the King. Well ten years ago, another 'meteorite' crashed and was found by Ouma Shu and it gave him the True Power of the King. A One-Shot Pseudo-Crossover with Soul Eater.
  • Comments: This looks humorous, Shu has gotten something different instead of just his Void Genome.

Imperfectly Forged by Alisa Yang

  • Recommended by Ford 1114
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: No military on Earth should have commissioned a teenage officer no matter how good a pilot he turned out to be, but war is brewing and the experimental Endlave that the United States expects to be critical in the upcoming conflict is proving too difficult to use by traditionally trained soldiers. Guilty Crown prequel.
  • Comments: This explores Daryl Yan's origins pretty well and shows what it's like for a new trainee becoming the soldier he is today.

Stories focused on the romantic relationships between the cast.

Guilty Crown: Dethroned (Phase 23) by LukeLC

  • Recommended by Draconic
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: A direct continuation of the anime. Three years after the Fourth Lost Christmas Japan is finally established as an independent nation by the UN. However the celebration is cut short when a blind Ouma Shu has nightmares of his sister Mana, and Yuzuriha Inori, long thought dead, mysteriously appears all over the country. Will fate call upon the members of Funeral Parlor once again?
  • Pairing: Shu/Inori
  • Comments: LukeLC's only contribution to Fanfiction.net is definitely worth a read. This story essentially offers closure to anyone who cried throughout the last ten minutes of the anime. It can get a tiny bit sappy at times, but there's a strong story arc, and the characters a written remarkably believably for an anime fanfic. This is just a very good story, being fun to read without deviating from the emotional heart of the anime.

Little Heart byAlisa Yang

  • Recommended by Ford 1114
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: A year after the aborted Fourth Apocalypse, Daryl Yan is involuntarily discharged from the military, the only life he has known. Weighted down with the burden of who he was and uncertain of who he wants to be in a life where he is no longer a pilot, he meets a feisty runt he never expected to see again.
  • Pairing: Tsugumi/Daryl
  • Comments: This is an interesting take of Tsugumi's relationship with Daryl. It shows how Daryl deals with the aftermath of GHQ's disbandment. After this story is done, the author has been thinking of doing a prequel of it.

Guilty Crown: Sins of an Emperor by ChaozHeavenz

  • Recommended by Ford 1114
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: The right to wield his friend's hearts in battle, that is the Guilty Crown he must bear. However, will Ouma Shu pave his way as a cruel Tyrant or a kind ruler...
  • Pairing: Shu/Ayase
  • Comments: This mainly focuses on Shu's relationship with Ayase instead of Inori for particular fans.

Guilty Crown: The Lost Kingdoms by Ford1114

  • Recommended by Saint River
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: On December 25th, 2012, Japan's heroes are wiped out by an violent outbreak called, Lost Christmas. It is now 2022, a lone high school student becomes involved with a resistance group, along side five magical girls, to regain the country's independence.
  • Crossover with: Puella Magi Madoka Magica, YuYuGiDigiMoon
  • Comments: This is the first Guilty Crown mega crossover as a retelling, but it averts typical crossover tropes use and delves a deeper experience of Shu's interactions with his development. The magical girls are an interesting touch, and the story becomes more enjoyable as it goes on.
  • Has a trope page.

Shinnen:New Year by Ford1114 and Kanius

  • Recommended by tikum31
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: Years have pass since he wielded the Guilty Crown. The young man, his wife, and their other friend meet new people to have a New Year Nightfest, alongside many sub-plots in a playground that is Manhattan. However, when an ancient conspiracy makes its reemergence, the heroes and villains put aside their differences to stop them, while the young man must reunite his Guilty World.
  • Crossover with: Guilty Crown: The Lost Kingdoms, YuYuGiDigiMoon, Digimon Fusion Kai, Kanius Production Abridged, various anime and fictional works in popular culture
  • Comments: This is a Guilty Crown mega crossover taking place after the anime. At times it’s hard to follow with so many characters, but the plot and concepts are interesting enough for readers to keep going, and focuses on Shu’s main perspective in getting involved to confront his past demons. It celebrates the tenth anniversary of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and also Guilty Crown’s fifth anniversary by 2016.
  • Has a trope page.

Shatter by Kazuki Naruse

  • Recommended by Ford 1114
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: Kyubey needs a new set of magical girls, and he just so happened to wander into a universe full of unfulfilled wishes.
  • Crossover with: Puella Magi Madoka Magica
  • Comments: This one-shot is decent enough for the Guilty Crown female characters to become magical girls with disastrous results and a sad ending.

‘’Soul & Ego Shaking, Blur Between Daydreams & Awakening’’ by Aster Lawrence

  • Recommended by Ford 1114
  • ‘’Status’’: Dormant
  • ‘’Synopsis’’: Reality is cruel. But does he even belong in this reality? What exactly is true? The world in front of his eyes or in his dreams? These are questions Lelouch would like answered. After encountering Funeral Parlour, he is locked in battle that will make or break the future. "If someone wins, the fighting will end."
  • Crossover with: Code Geass
  • ‘’Comments’’: This is a good crossover with both Guilty Crown and Code Geass have similarities since their done by the same people. You can see Shu and Lelouch interact.

‘’The Void King’’ by Mae Bleu

  • Recommended by Ford 1114
  • ‘’Status’’: Dormant (last updated August 2017)
  • ‘’Synopsis’’: Shu chose to die with Inori, for better or worse. After an undeterminable amount of time in limbo, he finds himself spat back into a new 'life' in Soul Society. This afterlife is nothing like he expected...but he's not too worried. He is nothing the afterlife expected, either. AU
  • Crossover with: Bleach
  • ‘’Comments’’: Despite being in a Bleach setting, this focus more on the developed relationship between Shu and Inori since the final episode.
