These are recommendations made by Tropers for Grim Fandango fanfics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. • Synopsis: Pretty much Exactly What It Says on the Tin. As the summary at the other end of the link says, reading it you don't so much feel that it was based on the game but that the game was based on it. Note that certain scenes have been rewritten - most of the time, to avoid the rather illogical actions when Manny has to Solve the Soup Cans. Also, Domino gets outright killed by Glottis.
