- Synopsis: Boober and Wembley stumble upon the fabled "Kissing Chasm," and become confused in a rather homosexual manner.
- Pairing: Wembley/Boober, Mokey/Red
- Comments: Some of the best yet this year. An intricate mix of a romantic fantasy with melancholic overtones and a comedy of misunderstanding, all to deliver us Boober and Wembley's earth-shattering homosexual romance. Also a deeply touching, if bittersweet tribute to Cantus.
Afraid to Love by Commander

- Synopsis: Boober is afraid to seek out happiness for himself... but what if happiness seeks HIM out?
- Pairing: Mokey/Boober
- Comments: One of the most bittersweet fics I've seen. Boober's Alternate Character Interpretation is gutwrenching and will make you want to give him a hug, and everything else is written fluidly.
Hold Me Tight by The Real Fraggle

- Synopsis: Red and Mokey confess their mutual love for each other, become girlfriends, and smooch constantly.
- Pairing: Red/Mokey
- Comments: A very sweet and adorable fanfic about a pairing that just feels right. Red and Mokey really do feel like they belong together, and reading this story about their deep love for one another will melt your heart.
