Though they are not a one trick pony and write a good variety of thing, ranging from twisted and weird, to sweet, and to so funny that you may just well die laughing. Something New is especially good.

- Extremely dark but elegant fic. Mistress showcases a grown up demon Ciel as a butler (with Sebastian as his ever-snarky footman, of course) to a woman on the path for revenge not unlike the contract the Ciel had with Sebastian as a human. Many of Lark's fic involves original characters but they are all very interesting, well-developed and fit into the context of the original series while still having lives of their own. Her writing style also fits well with the more poetic writing style that authors during the 19th century had,but is not over-the-top dramatic or distracting. As a warning, many of these fics are rather dark and adult in nature so a trigger warning applies here in the case of anyone being triggered by dark imagery or non-graphic depictions of sexual content.

- Very gifted author of general fics, often somewhat dark in nature but always with enchanting, dream-like imagery, spot-on characterization and intriguing plots. Her works are free from any misspellings, grammatical errors or clichés. Her only flaw is that she is not very productive, having only written 6 Kuroshitsuji-fanfics so far. On the other hand, all 6 are of extremely high quality and highly enjoyable.

- This author writes stories in her series, known as Everyone Lives! It's a sweet, well-written series of stories about a world where the original premise is the same as in cannon, but despite that the characters mange to care about each other and live happy lives. What makes the series unique is that the stories rarely alter the characters cannon characterization, except for Sebastian, and even so 23Murasaki puts a lot of effort into analyzing his character and showing how a demon can be decent. If you're looking for sweet and fluffy without OOC, try this.

- Synopsis: Funny, witty, and refreshing. There is no other story like this written for Kuroshitsuji. The narration of this story alone deserves a through praise, not to mention the content. This AU takes the stereotypes of Kuroshitsuji fanfiction and turns them upside down in a sarcastic, satirical portrayal that not only provides intelligent comment on the nature of fandom, but also life itself. Or at least life as a college student.

It adheres to the Victorian England morals that say a woman should strive to be a wife, and a wife should strive to be whatever he husband needs her to be. Now imagine Lizzy growing into these morals, knowing that she's going to marry Ciel- and what Ciel needs in a wife isn't what most english noblemen need in a wife.

Instead he finds nothing more than the scandalous memoirs of a dandy detective, and a myriad of disturbing things that can never be unseen. This is a fanmade prequel to the manga series.

- Comments: This fic, while presented as a prequel to the kuroshitsuji manga, takes a different turn when the main pairing isn't of Vincent and his wife Rachel, but of Vincent and his 'loyal german dog', Diederich. It is a very different take compared to the manga and seems to focus more on supernatural creatures than the original manga. This story is also of a much darker nature than the canon, given that Vincent is a very different kind of protagonist than Ciel. However, the changes to the canon themes is refreshing to see and very interesting to read.
