Vulgaris Adamas is a fanfiction series written by Wierdkid20 in which White Diamond, like Rose Quartz, gave up her physical form to have a child.
Said child, Domina, has been leading Homeworld's Colonization fleet, staying as far away from Homeworld as possible. When she finally decides to visit the planet her father was stolen from, she finds that she's not as alone in the universe as she thought.

Tropes present in this series include:
- Benevolent Boss: Domina is this, especially when compared to the other Diamonds. She takes time to learn the names of the Gems under her and is shown to know her Gems on a more individual basis.
- Blow You Away: Domina’s main ability is aerokinesis, and she’s good enough with it that she can use it to fly on her own.
- Commonality Connection: Steven and Domina get along very well despite their differing origins and loyalties, due to being the only two known Gem-human hybrids.
- Human Pet: Played straight at first when White Diamond borrowed Domina's father Vitus, then averted when they started to get to know each other.
- Hypercompetent Sidekick: Downplayed – while Domina is hardly incompetent, her need to sleep can sometimes make her fall behind (by Homeworld standards). Pink Pearl tends to take over for her when this happens.
- Master Swordsman: Domina’s main weapon is a sword, and she’s capable of Dual Wielding if she wants.
- The Men First: Domina has a tendency to go after any Gems left behind herself, whether that means jumping into open space or wading through an overrun base.
- Older Than They Look: Domina appears to be an adult woman in her twenties to thirties, but is over 4000 years old.
- Smarter Than You Look: Homeworld attempted to colonize a world that seemingly had no intelligent life. The response of the locals makes Domina wonder if they need to redefine their definition of “intelligent”.
- Token Good Teammate: Due to being the only Diamond that seems to be willing to at least listen to the Crystal Gems, along with her treatment of the Gems under her, Domina falls into this. And, although the circumstances appear to be different than in canon, Pink Diamond appears to have still supported the Crystal Gem rebellion, and intentionally allowed herself to be poofed and captured.
- Queen Incognito: Domina gets away with this mostly because she does not fit what anyone expects White Diamond to look like, leaving her free to interact with her Gems on a more personal level before they find out who she is, as shown with Peridot 1F7-9YN.
- The Reveal: White Diamond was responsible for Pink Diamond's death due to Accidental Murder, and used her power to alter memories to make everyone think that Rose was actually the killer.
