A Total Drama fanfic written by Stereotypical Vampire

After Pahkitew Island, Chris has decided to reuse Camp Pahkitew for a sort of 'New All-Star' season. That's right, he's bringing back 36 contestants that still have beef with the show or have had a lack of screen time, and pitting them against each other for the grand prize of 1 MILLION!

The competitors:

  • Island: Heather, Bridgette, Geoff, Gwen, DJ, Duncan, Courtney, Harold, LeShawna, Tyler, Noah, Izzy, Eva, Trent, Cody, Ezekiel, Katie, Sadie, Owen
  • World Tour: Alejandro
  • Revenge of the Island: Jo, Brick, Scott, Dakota, B, Dawn, Anne Maria
  • Pahkitew Island: Rodney, Ella, Amy, Samey, Jasmine, Sky, Dave, Topher, Max, Scarlett

This fanfiction contains examples of:

  • Alpha Bitch: Heather and Amy, as per canon.
  • Amusing Injuries: This being a fanfic of the Total Drama series, there are too many instances of this to count.
  • Arch-Enemy: Dave and Sky to each other: Dave entered the competition for the sole purpose of defeating her for making a fool of him back in Pahkitew, and Sky's sick of Dave's anger over it and wants him eliminated.
  • Ascended Extra: Many contestants who received little focus in the canon seasons are given so here, such as Ezekiel, Katie and Sadie, Noah, Eva, and Dawn.
  • Big Bad: Scarlett and Amy share this role.
  • Big Bad Ensemble: Alejandro, Heather, Scott, Amy, Max and Scarlett are all present as competitors.
  • Bloodier and Gorier: The VR (Virtual Reality) challenges often have the contestants killed in brutal ways that the challenges in the show's world would never be able to.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: Izzy does this too many times to count, usually leaving her fellow contestants totally baffled.
  • The Bus Came Back: Several chapters after her elimination, Dakota returns as a contestant after her father sued the producers to let her in again.
  • The Cameo: Several challenges have former contestants and other characters making guest appearances, with some even competing temporarily.
    • Sam and Shawn compete as guests in the zombie VR challenge.
    • Don, the host of Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race appears alongside Chris and Chef as a judge of the talent contest.
    • Lindsay and Leonard along with the recently-eliminated Harold act as additional team members for the League of Losers VR challenge.
    • While they don't participate in the challenge, pictures of The Ridonculous Race's Crimson and Ennui are spotted by Heather and Cody in the haunted castle challenge.
  • Cast Full of Crazy: Noah lampshaded this in the League of Legend challenge, after Duncan gone full crazy when Cody deliberately taunted him.
  • Chekhov's Gun: Eva finds an immunity idol in the haunted mansion challenge. This turns out to be what saves her from being voted out after Scarlett's mind control collar briefly causes her to go berserk.
  • Comic Trio: Izzy, Owen and Noah: Izzy's The Leader, Owen's The Fool and Noah's the Only Sane Man.
  • Control Freak: Courtney, as per her canon self.
  • Demoted to Extra:
    • Despite being the main main trio of both ROTI and All-Stars, Mike, Zoey and Cameron do not compete, presumably due to all three being both finalists and rather divisive among the fandom. They make a return for the Cruise of Lose, where they are shown interviewing several of the eliminated and non-participating contestants.
    • Subverted with Owen: he initially appears as an intern since he didn't make the cut as a contestant, but Chris promotes him to a competitor a few chapters later.
  • Foreshadowing: Heather and Alejandro wants each other out because they will get distracted by their attraction with each other. Episodes later, this happens to be the downfall of Duncan, since his attraction towards Courtney derails his plan of dominating with an all-male alliance.
  • Forgettable Character: Trent's existence is often forgotten by the other campers, and when he is remembered it's for being the guy Gwen broke up with.
  • Give Geeks a Chance: Harold with LeShawna, of course. Also, Cody hooks up with Samey.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: During a virtual reality parody of Jurassic World, Dakota sacrifices herself to save her teammates from a pack of voracious Velociraptors by turning into the terrifying Dakotazoid. In the end, both Dakotazoid and the Velociraptors are consumed in flames.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: Several pairs reprise their roles from the main series, like Owen and Noah and Jasmine and Samey.
  • Hidden Depths:
    • After suffering years of constant abuse from her sister, Samey is filled with a lot of hatred, both towards her tormentor and herself.
    • Katie turns out to be a gamer during the zombie VR challenge, as her experiences with it contributes a lot with her survival.
  • Hulking Out: While Dakota's mostly reverted back to her human self after some medical treatment, she has a tendency to turn back into Dakotazoid if she gets angry.
  • Instant-Win Condition: The ice fishing challenge has players diving into icy waters and bringing up various species of fish to get points: a minnow gives 1, bass give 5, muskellunges give 10, and both sharks and seals grant 20 points. The first team to 100 points wins. However, in the event that someone manages to catch a killer whale, their team will win the game automatically. Naturally, Izzy manages to accomplish said feat with flying colours.
  • It's All About Me: Chris, as per canon, is extremely egotistical and self-centered.
  • Jerkass Realization: Sky in chapter 26 when Dave told her how much finishing out she already had a boyfriend hurt him.
  • The Load: Gwen becomes a liability to her team after suffering a nasty cut to her leg in the ice fishing challenge. While Trent does his best to help her with the challenges, she's ultimately medevaced out of the game after it gets infected.
  • Love Triangle: Duncan and Scott both want to get back together with Courtney, though she no longer has any interest in either of them.
  • Mind-Control Device: Scarlett and Max develop a collar that enslaves whoever wears it, albeit with the cost of making the wearer go psychotic. Scarlett uses this to her advantage on Eva, and convinces her team to vote her off. Only Eva's immunity idol saves her, which results in Dakota being eliminated again.
  • Mistaken for Fake Hair: In order to keep Owen from eating all the food during the cooking challenge, Noah locks him in the fridge. Once he is finally let out, he is dressed in full tribal gear and has a grown a full beard. Noah asks what is with him and fake beards and drags Owen around by his actually very real beard.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Played With. Dakota tries to become this in order to make her competitors underestimate her. Scarlett has an inkling, but didn't know much of it is actually genuine.
  • Out-Gambitted: It happens to Heather at the hands of Brick, of all people: Heather attempts to convince Brick to join her alliance, and Brick agrees under the idea that "soldiers never lie", only for him to reveal he was lying to her in the confessional, with him choosing to vote Heather off instead. However, the guilt of lying to her and earlier Jo eventually gets to Brick, to the point where he chooses to eliminate himself a couple of chapters later.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Dave and Sky when they are forced into and stuck in the outhouse confessional for the entirety of the League of Legend MMO challenge.
Dave: You know Sky, you really hurt me. What you did. You said you liked me, I know you meant it. I was so happy, finally a girl that I liked liked me back. But then you lashed out at me during the drinking challenge. That really hurt. I didn't want to be there anymore. You ruined it for me. But you weren't done. At the finale you kissed me. That changed everything. I felt that whatever had happened was over now... but then it turned out... YOU HAD A BOYFRIEND! I gave you my heart and you stabbed it a million times. Then you patched it back together, only to tear it apart again. I don't care how you feel. Just try to justify what you did.
  • Sacrificial Lamb: Ezekiel gets voted off after he confesses his feelings for Bridgette during a Truth Or Dare challenge, which gets Rodney, who's currently convinced he and Bridgette are dating, to rig the voting system to eliminate what he believes to be a threat towards his love. The author even admitted he needed to eliminate Ezekiel in order to show how serious Rodney was.
  • Sanity Slippage: Katie starts to go a little off the deep end after Sadie gets eliminated. Near the end of her run, she attempts to use Bridgette as a Replacement Goldfish for Sadie, and she tries to imitate Noah by the time of her elimination. Everyone views said elimination as a Mercy Kill.
  • Shipper on Deck: Izzy is a hardcore shipper of Noah/Cody, and constantly attempts to get them to do romantic things together despite Noah being with Emma and Cody having recently partnered up with Samey.
  • Ship Tease: Gwen and Trent get plenty of tease as the fic goes on, as it's hinted their feelings for each other never completely disappeared. It eventually culminates in Gwen giving him her phone number when she's medevaced out of the game.
  • Shout-Out: Gwen mentions that Izzy once searched for a mutated sponge and starfish on Camp Wawanakwa. There are also a lot of other references to other cartoons detailed in the notes, including Spongebob, Phineas and Ferb, and Gravity Falls.
  • Stuff Blowing Up: Izzy does this a lot:
    • In the Superhero VR challenge, she has the power to make bombs as Explosivo.
    • She and Scarlett blew up the roof of the hospital in the Zombie VR Challenge.
    • In the Dinosaur VR challenge, she blows up the entire island, costing her team the victory.
  • Superhero Episode: The first VR challenge has the contestants assume superhero or supervillain identities (with matching superpowers) and battle each other.
  • Took a Level in Badass:
    • Not only Eva took her anger management training to heart, she also becomes a more social and strategic competitor like watching past seasons to learn about the competition, eavesdropping to learn about the competition's plan and willing to apologize her for temper as soon as possible.
    • Amy, despite her horrid attitude, her relative low profile gives her time to become very proactive in creating alliances and discarding them after they lose their purpose.
    • Harold during the ice hockey challenge, in which we find out that the skating rink is his domain.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: Some of the virtual reality challenges are this, like parodies of League of Legends and Jurassic World.
  • Unexplained Recovery: Exactly how Ezekiel became human again is unexplained, given how his last appearance at the time depicted him as a feral mutant living in Boney Island.
