Total Danganronpa
is a Total Drama and Danganronpa Crossover fanfic by Heroi Oscura.
Set after the events of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, Noah wakes up in Hope's Peak Academy and finds himself surrounded by alumni from Total Drama Island and Total Drama Revenge of the Island. No recognizes him, however, and he comes to realize that there is something more. In addition to the presence of Dawn, who suffers from amnesia and also is unrecognizable to the rest of the cast, the campers find themselves in a killing game and held captive by Monokuma.

Total Danganronpa provides examples of:
- Adaptation Expansion: Hope's Peak Academy is presented with more areas to explore, including a robotics club room, an aquarium, and an arcade.
- More backstory is also placed on Mal's history.
- Adapted Out: There's no Junko here as the author didn't want to use her for the final trial.
- Anyone Can Die: As per the usual terms of the game.
- Breaking Old Trends: While some Danganronpa standard chapter formulas show up, the larger cast facilitates more subversions and twists in the standard formula.
- Two chapters feature a 'two victim, one culprit' formula instead of just one. Trent injects Cody with a poison that causes him to kill Sierra and eventually himself and Scott kills Courtney after Courtney kills Duncan.
- One chapter features an whopping 6 deaths by the end of it! Heather kills Izzy, Alejandro kills DJ, Sam kills Alejandro, Bridgette kills Heather, and Sam and Bridgette are executed as Co-Blackeneds.
- There is at least one murder that occurs without a motive. Anne Maria kills Zoey because of misplaced anger at the loss of Vito.
- Cruel and Unusual Death: Naturally the murders and executions are depicted in this manner.
- Dwindling Party: The story starts with 25 Super High School Level alumni of Total Drama. Only 6 survive to the end of the killing game.
- Exact Words: Monokuma is prone to using these and Noah eventually catches on.
- Mythology Gag:
- The first case of the fanfiction plays out similar to the canon chapter 1. Katie is killed in Noah's room and leaves a dying message to implicate her killer, Sadie. Lightning is also killed in the same way as Mukuro Ikusaba.
- The second case of the game features someone being killed in one room and being dropped in another room and set up in the modus operandi of a criminal by one of the rivals in the game. Zoey is killed by Anne Maria and her body is set up like Mal's modus operandi by Alejandro.
- Ship Tease: Noah and Dawn get this throughout the story.
- Strictly Formula: Some elements of canon Danganronpa games remain in this fanfiction.
- Two of the motives, hostages and secrets, remain as motives.
- The penultimate trial in the game features the death of the mole to unify the rest of the students. Technically Mike kills himself but Mal is the mole, not Mike.
